I would like to see Wanderlei Silva vs Cung Le 2.
Cung Le lost the first fight and there's reason for the 2nd. Both are at the end of their careers, and both have unbelievable striking,which was prevalent in their first matchup.
the "Axe Murderer"'s lost to Franklin TWICE, and Cung Le is coming off a 1 rd ko victory!
These two matchup well, and from Cung Le's stand point, redemption would be sweet.

Oh, you mean in the UFC?
Belcher/Okami winner.
Both men are on the outside of the top 5, and Cung is JUST inside the top 10.
If we can get Le vs Okami at UFC Japan III, then they are absolutly getting a sellout, even witout the Zombie or Gomi on the card.

Man, Cung Le's 40, and the "Axe Murderer's".... 36, but Silva's been in so many BANG'ERS, he's really like 48 in fighting years. lol
Cung Le vs the Ax Murderer 2, in Brazil. Cung Le had homefield advantage this past weekend, or some to that extent.
Okami/Belcher... I feel yah, sort of, but lets get the most out of our buck here, fans want Dana to make the right moves. I'm not discrediting Cung Le's win over future hall of famer Rich Franklin, but I doubt he can move up the UFC ranks, like he did in strikeforce. And being realistic, Wanderlie and Cung Le both dont' want too many more fights.

As you state- Le is 40. Coming off wins over Cote and Rich, two guys that Anderson has beat in title fights.
Is he a title challenger? HeIls No. But can I make the case if he KOs Okami/Belcher and Silva takes out Weidman and Bisping?
Better than Vitor/Silva II.
I can sell out Brazil with Hyped vs CCC in the main event, but the last Japanese show had slow sales.
I can put Okami/Le and toss Kim and Gomi on the undercard (maybe even Mark Hunt vs Barnett)
And sell out the Tokyo Dome!

sweet analogy there.
Le ko'd Franklin in 1, and Wandy went the DISTANCE twice with Franklin. Yes, Wandy beat Le in 2, but it was a crowd pleasing contest.
Sh8t honestly could've gone either way, and that's why i would LOVE to see the rematch. Remember what Le did to Scott Smith? Lord Have Mercy!!!!
I see you didn't argue my take on Wandy's fighting years. haha (48) Cung Le woulda lost to Franklin, sh8t, he mighty retired Saturday night.
Cung Le has a nice RECORd, even if it's not that deep, give him the damn rematch, WE'RE guaranteed FIREWORKS

Vitor's fighting BisQUEEN in January, I'm pretty sure.
Wandy isn't promised a win against Le in the 2nd fight, I'm a firm believer in the fake Bruce Lee of the UFC.
Wandy aint scared of nobody, lets get it on. "IF" Wandy wins, it would be a nice fight for him leading up to the Vitor sequel 20 years in the making .. lol jk

Interestingly enough, Le vs Wandy was on UFCTV last night, quite a few times the crowd shat on the fight, oddly enough.
But is that all you got? The first fight was good do it again?
Heck lets bring out Frank and Tito to fight, the first one was good right? How about Wandy and Chuck?
The UFC likes to BUILD toward something, either UP the card or OUT of the UFC
What does a win over Wandy get Le? Especially if its this awesome fight you think it will be?

By the time THATS done- Cung will be what? 42? 43?
Is he different than he is now? Still 2-3 fights away? And thats IF he beats Wandy TWICE.
Rich is a MONSTER Win. Le Needs to capitalize.
He beats OKAMI and he's close to a title fight.
Don't you think at 40 he WANTS to try for the belt? Don't you think the UFC wants to have a title fight with Le in Cali?
Even if he faces Belcher, Le can sell out any arena in SOuthern Cali.

I like the Le-Okami matchup if Okami beats Belcher. Would be huuuugge in Japan like David says. Le-Belcher...meh, not so much.
Le-Wanderlei makes good sense too in the seniors division. I think they won Fight-of-the-Night last time and both guys have crowd-pleasing styles.
Maybe Lombard or Stann or even Leben could make sense for Le as well.
