I've got Mr. Peyton Manning himself.
Neck fused and all, Peyton is above .500, and the rest of their schedule, weakest in the entire league.
Peyton has proved that you can't doubt 'em.

As much as I hate the man, it has to go to Adrian Peterson.
AP tore both his ACL and MCL last Christmas Eve. He should not have been ready to play this season. He should have missed at least the first half of the year and been placed on PUP. Many would have normally missed the entire year, still recovering. Yet he started opening week, and scored 2 TD.
Just being able to return so fast is incredible.
Normally when he return from such an injury, it takes until your second year back to get to top speed and in full-shape, but you never return as good as you were when you left. AP though is as good as ever.
AP is the best RB in the league right now.
He currently leads the league in yards (1128), yards per attempt (5.8), rushes of over 20 yards (13), yards per game (112.8) and has done so while only fumbling twice. He has been incredible, and may be putting his best season ever up.
Then consider the fact Ponder and the Vikings passing game sucks, so defences are focusing on AP, yet he continues to dominate.
Despite no pass game, the Vikings are 6-4, and in a wild card position thanks to AP.

I hear yah, loud and clear.
A.P.'s my starting runningback on my fantasy team, but guess who's my starting qb?
MOTHERFRKN PEYTON MANNING
Are we really going to have to compare a NECK FUSED vs a torn Leg?
Peyton made Tebow an instant memory.
Peyton and Denver, heads up against your pick, and the Minnesota Vikings, not really a contest.
Peyton Manning, was contemplating retirement, so lets not get on the boohoo train of injuries.
Saying A.P.'s the best runningback in the game, I would say, eh. yeah, but Arian Foster is highly arguable on that standpoint.
A.P's a beast, I enjoy him more than Arian, truthfully.
Peyton Manning's arm caught him W's against the red hot Steelers, an incredible comeback win against San Diego, down 24-0 @half, and they come back to win , 34-24!!!!
Sure, Denver's d is nasty, but so is Minnesota's, when you look at some individual players on their team. I like Harrison Smith, safety from Notre Dame, and Jared Allen, he needs to sign up for WWE when decides to retire. haha

Peyton Manning had how long to recover? Close to 20 months. He was able to sit back, and heal fully. Even had time to try some experimental stuff. He had time to sit back, relax while his body heals, then hit the rehab. Everyone knew Manning would be back in time for Opening Week, there was just some questions about how good he would be.
AP had 9 months, to recover from an injury that usually takes close to two years to fully recover from. Nobody thought he would be playing week one, and nobody thought he would be close to as good as he was when he was inured so soon.
Manning has not been the best QB this year. Aaron Rodgers has been as good, if not better.
Nobody has been as close to as good as AP at RB this year. Foster's 3.9 YDS/A doesn't compare to AP's 5.8. Not to mention 300 more yards, on 25 less carries. AP has been the best, hands down, no comparison.
Manning has a great run game, and great receivers, and a great D (5th best). AP has a terrible QB and offense around him, and a D that ranks 22nd in the league. AP is the reason the Vikings are in a playoff spot.
Plus, AP suffered an injury that is the manifestation of Satan!
PCH-LEH GO HEAT! said 11/16, 12:17 AM
Broncos are 2nd in the league in POINTS.
Broncos are 3rd in passing yards.
Wonder why? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Why are you talking about Aaron Rodgers compared to Peyton? lol The MVP of last year is not up for this award.
I didn't want to go tif for tif on this injury thing, but here we GO. You want to b8tch about Peyton's injury, and how he had enough time to heal. That's cool, he had his NECK FUSED, pretty serious stuff. The comeback player of the year award isn't based off how fast you comeback. lol I mean, it is in a sense, but come on! haha Peyton was contemplating retirement, and simply, A.P wasn't.
Peyton's remaining scedule:
vs San Diego
vs Kansas City
vs Tampa Bay
vs Oakland
vs *Baltimore exception
vs Cleveland
vs Kansas City AGAIN..
peyton's stats are going to be LOOKING pretty, more than likely, he'll be looking prettier than A.P. when all is said n done. Peyton's got 21 td's, 6int's and 2700 yards passing RIGHT NOW, look @ that schedule. lol
Many doubters for Peyton, not as many for A.P..
good td
Argos. said 11/17, 12:50 PM
Rodgers has better stats, and is on a team that has the same record, while playing in a tougher division. This is an argument for another TD, but Peyton is not the best player or QB or the league MVP.
I don't know why you are speculating on what will happen, but as of now, AP is the comeback player.
You're no doctor, and I am no doctor. Neither of us really know what a neck fusion in titles or how serious it is. From what I have read though, with the new and most advanced technology, and I'm sure Peyton had the best of the best, there is fairly minimal invasive now, with little side-effects and quick recovery times. Doesn't sound all that serious, but what the **** do I know? But also, what the **** do you know on this topic?
We do know the seriousness of AP's injury, because it is much more common in Pro Sports. We know that it usually takes 12 months before a player can even really start to do light drills, and it takes 24 months before they are at their pre-injury shape, and often never recover to be as good as they once were. AP took 9-months before starting week one, and is as good as ever, which is saying a lot considering he was the best pre-injury.

NFL record of 70 percent completion 6 weeks in a row. Impressive.

Peyton has surpassed anything I thought he'd be able to do. His accuracy is remarkable. He's been throwing slow, floating ducks all year but he's been able to weave them into tight spaces and he's not getting picked off much. He throws like Joe Flacco but with way more accuracy.
If there was still a debate about the best QB of all time (or at least for our generation), I think Peyton's sort of answering that with his play in 2012.
I for one have been super-impressed with how well Peyton has played. Props to Manning for shutting up all the nay-sayers. And props to Denver for making sure Manning entered 2012 as a Bronco. I liked Tebow and all that but clearly Elway made the best move by bringing in Manning.
Manning and the Broncos have been a lot of fun to watch this year.

I'd take Peyton. The only other realistic option is Adrian Peterson.

AP was not gone last year . Do you not have to be "away" to come back ? Manning was gone and done. Inspiring return !

You don't have to be injured the year before to be comeback player of the year.
Josh Freeman would be a good choice for this year. Last year he had 16 TD's and 22 INT's. So far this year he is at 18 & 5 respectively.
