Alright dj you should've won that last argument on the championship prediction. congrats. now let's determine athe winna shall we? Here it is............... Alabama wins the 2012 BCS National Championship.

Lets predict the score. Most people that watch college football, know that Bama has had a harder schedule than the fighting Irish.

I got Bama 42-17

Aight then. Bama wins 35-10. if you think about the season that bama's had, it was almost magical. The comeback win against LSU. And surviving the Dawgs in the SEC championship. These are the games that chmpionship teams have. Sure, Bama lost against A&M but come on. Johnny Heismanziel is young and reckless. Yes Notre Dame is undefeated but look at the close calls they had. I can understand Stanford, but Notre Dame should NOT had had to struggl with Pittsburgh. Which they should've lost because two number 2s the field which is illegal. Pitt would've made the game winner. I'll b surprised if Notre Dame scores over 10.

I wouldn't be. Also, did you see the TWO runningbacks of Bama run all over the Dawgs?

this game will be a massacre, which we both picked, but I see Bama getting a lil over 40 this game. Notre Dame's defense has been good against nobodies, lets see them stop that HUGE o-line, and Mr. Lacy, who had damn near 200 yards on a UGA defense, that's all headed to Sundays.

Lacy had a tremendous game against the Dawgs rushing for 181. Yeldon was right behind him with 154. Both these running backs will be the keys to win that title game. But let???s not forget about the atmosphere of the game. This is the national championship. Notre Dame is gonna have some sort of swagger among them. I don???t think Bama will run up the score that much. Win, yes. But 42-17? No. Not gonna happen. 35-10 final score. Nick Saban smiles yet again.

Bama scored 32 on UGA. I know Notre Dame's defense isn't shabby, and obviously they have a linebacker up for the Heisman, but lets be real, they'll get more than 32, and more than your 35. Bama's too much. Bama's o-line pushed UGA 5 yards back on every play. Notre Dame's in for a VERY rude awakening.

No offense to the fighting Irish, but they're toast.

Nick Saban will be smiling, because he'll put the exclamation point on the national title game, which will be barely over 40 points. I see this game being somewhat close at half, but Bama's offensive line and runningbacks, will just run those fighting irish to death on defense. Check out Sport's Illustrated this week, everybody an their mom doesn't even want to see the FIghting Irish in the big game. haha

"Most people that watch college football, know that Bama has had a harder schedule than the fighting Irish." False, ESPN analysts, experts, and the computers put Notre Dame as the 14th hardest schedule and Alabama at 29th.

So the vote is on the final score - either 35-10 or 42-17? You guys can't even argue the point spread?

wasn't my fault.

You guys are WAY off.

ND wins, 17-14.

December 3, 2012  08:38 PM ET

Why do both predictions have the score being so high?

ND and Bama were 1 and 2 in scoring defense this year. Each team gave up less than 11 points a game if I'm not mistaken.

Alabama tardfest.

as much as I hate Bama and detest everything about Saban, I'm actually thinking I'm gonna root for the Tide just to see everyone get hacked off again cause the SEC keeps the string alive
