TD: RATE THE MANNY VS MARQUEZ FIGHT 1-10.

I've got a solid 10

suspense: on the edge of my seat, nearly the whole fight.

Skills displayed: head hunting, crazy combos from Manny.

The Ko was horrible. I really felt bad for Pacquaio, now there really won't be a mayweather matchup.

#MarquezvsPacquaio5?

I'll give it a 8.75

a 10 would have gone at least 9 rounds.

Pacquaio walked right into that punch and deserved to get KO'd
Marquez did the right thing by going after a Lunging Manny.
Not so sure why you think the KO was horrible. It was right on the $$$ and put Pacman out with no questions asked of a bad standing 8 count, bad ref stopage, or bad judges score.

As far as my score of 8.75 I think the whole fight could have been a bit better. I knew they would both go for it and was hoping for a few knockdowns. Pacmans knockdown of Marquez was week IMO. And like I said a few more rounds of that battle would have made it a 10

3 knockdowns.

broken nose. (Marquez0

concussion. (Pacman)

The pace of the fight cannot be justified in words. The end of the fight was a definite jaw opener. #noROMO

8.75. no. Goliath got slayed.

In your 1st arguement you said the KO was horrble and now in your 2nd, you are saying it was a jaw opener. So which is it?

By Giving the fight a 10 you are saying there is no way it could have gotten any better. Is that what you truly think, it in no way could have been a better fight?

3 knockdowns was good but wouldn't 4-5 and the fight goes into the late rounds, make for a better boxing war? Maybe late we see Marquez struggle a bit by getting knocked down again and he stuns the world with that great KO punch in the 10th. I can play that out in my head and it sounds to me like there is a chance the fight could have been better.

I'm out it's time for work

Big Dan Rafeal did call Marquez winning this fight. I thought Manny had him, when he broke Marquez's nose.

Was short on rounds, but long on excitement. This is what championship fights should be.....

Yikes.

Afterthoughts...

1. Best KO in a big fight since Martinez over Williams

2. So much for all the Manny vs. Floyd hype of the past 5 years...That fight just got devalued by about $100 million

3. I'd give the fight a 9. Nice to see both guys looking to take the judges out of this one since they've both had a taste of what it feels like to be on the wrong end of a screw job

A short but great fight!

Pac as we knew him is done and he has been fading for awhile. Yea he beat Bradley but it wasn't the wipe out the announcers said it was. Pressure fighters have a short shelf life and Pac has just expired. Also once concussed you are more likely to be again.

The sad part is that there have been rumors of Pac borrowing money from Arum ahead of fights because he was broke. Which brings me to other fighter who blows his money, Floyd. I still think the fight gets made because they both seem to be always broke. Don't be surprised if Roach leaves him too, maybe retire but I have always thought Boboy be the trainer for Pac's last couple of fights.

It was a great career for Pacquaio and I think proper to not judge what happens from here, sort of like I don't judge Holyfield or Jones Jr on their current fights. Pac will be remembered as one of the greats of this generation and will probably be slated somewhere in the in the later 20s or high 30s when historians start to go over his career. He had an amazing run and gave us a lot of great fights and never gave us a snoozer.

Sadly we will never see the fight between Congressman Paq vs Chicken Boy Floyd.

Well I still think it can get maid, like I said they are both always broke. It won't be the fight we wanted to see and I won't pay for it just on principle but i wouldn't say never.

** But the mystique/hype is gone, so I won't buy this PPV Package even if it's maid in French.
