Ok..
Lets not debate the top 3..
It's been done before..
And we both agree on the bottom 5..
So we are talking about the middle 4..

I'm not a huge Ryan fan..
He is too conservative..
Both luck and Schuab possess better deep threats..

As for rg3..
Yes he is very exciting to watch..
It's always fun to see a running QB..
And he is extremely talented athletically..
But..
We all know most scrambling QBs don't have a lot of great success..
So I will sell on rg3..
I prefer more traditional QBs..
But fantastic of him to lead his team to playoffs..
Just wasn't impressed with his win over boys..
He spent too much time on the floor..

I won't debate Manning vs Brady because its been beaten to death, but I will say its really not a debate anymore. Brady's stats have proven he is better and he flat out wins more. Brady is clearly better.

Moving onto Rodgers. What Rodgers accomplished this season is truly astonishing. He led his team to the NFC North title with a litany of injuries. Not only did he lead his team to a division title, he did it with better numbers than Manning. For Rodgers to not be mentioned as an MVP candidate is truly a crime. Rodgers moves ahead of Manning on the list because he's plain better.

Its funny that you hold RGIII's legs against him. It actually makes him a much more dangerous QB than Luck or Schaub. Opposing defenses have to account for him in both the passing game and running game making him a tougher opponent to scheme for. He also turns the ball over less than both those guys.

Moving onto Ryan. Top 5 in rating, yards, and TDs. No deep threats? Jones and White? I know he hasn't win a playoff game yet but neither has Luck and Schaub. At least Ryan has playoff experience, and that will serve in round this go a round.

Give me Ryan and RGIII over Schaub and Luck everyday.

Live by the pass die by the pass..
Of course Schuab and luck will have more turnovers than rg3..
They take more chances..

What good is a running QB IF HE IS HOWLING IN PAIN ON THE FLOOR..
If you saw that last cowboys game vs skins..
You know what I'm talking about..

Ryan is soooo conservative it's so freakin boring..

Pass on Ryan..
He only had big numbers cause he is surrounded by talent..
I know the Atlanta owner would dump him over Schuab..
It will probably be the Atlantans owners biggest regret till he dies..

But

As jojo once said:

"You know it's just a little too late"..

So you'd rather have the guys who take more chances and turn the ball over in the playoffs? Gotta be honest, that doesn't make a whole lot of sense. I'd rather have the guy who takes care of the football because turnovers are the most critical part of playoff games.

RG3 is just the more dynamic QB who gives the threat of the run and pass and turns the ball over less. How could you not side with him?

I saw the Cowboys game did you? RG3 had 6 carries for 63 yards and a TD. The threat of him running and throwing also gave Alfred Morris giants holes to run through. And guess what? Zero turnovers.

So first Ryan has no deep threat and now he has big numbers because he's surrounded with talent? Ok.

You've seen Schaub play right? The blueprint for Houston is out there. Shut down the run, get up, and force Schaub to throw. This has caused Houston's offense to sputter down the stretch.

Ryan has been the entire offense for Atlanta. His running game has been non existent this season and the entire offense has been put on his shoulders. With that said, he has led his team to a 13-3 mark and has put up big numbers like you stated.

Give me Ryan over a struggling Schaub all day.

What movie is that from?

January 2, 2013  10:24 AM ET

Schaub and RGIII are backwards...RGIII should be 4 and Schaub should be 6....imagine this being Fantasy Football draft going into the playoffs...What QB are you going for when you get your pick?...no sane person would take Schaub over RGIII or Luck...

January 2, 2013  10:26 AM ET

and with the way he's been playing, Russell Wilson would probably get more attention than Schaub or Matt Ryan...Wilson should probably be 6, Schaub 7, Ryan 8....

Brady & Rodgers are stronger, but Manning is the better leader. It's almost a toss up, but I'd still take Manning.

If Tom Brady sold his own urine and feces in little plastic bags, Patriots homers would bathe in it. And they'd pay good money to do so.
