Mark Sanchez was absolutely horrible this season. HORRIBLE. Sanchez will run the Jets down the hole by HIMSELF.
sure, he didn't have Holmes for the most part, and the Jets didn't surround him with talent at the wide receiver position, but still!
As far as Romo goes, I thought him and Dez bryant had and will have some chemistry, but when is enough, enough?
Romo puts his team in great position to win, then throws a stupid pick. Seen it TOO MANY times.
Romo's like 1-6 in the BIG BIG GAMES.. Yet, when the Redskins played the Cowboys in the finale, some of the media was still saying Romo has it. lmao Unbelievable.
Jerry Jones needs to MAKE BIG CHANGES like he stated, and one would be letting Romo go. I would hate to be a Cowboys or Jets fan at the moment. We both of these overrated stars heading into their next seasons, I'm still hearing they'll start. With that being said, I strongly disagree!

Mark Sanchezm agreed.
Romo, no. He'll be the QB and for better or worse that's how it will be.
Yes, he hasn't won the big games but last season he passed for almost 5,000 yds and was the 3rd leading passer in the NFL.
Dallas will make big changes but it will probably be in the coaching department and defense which gave up 25 pts a game and 125 rushing yds pg
The Romo - Witten - Bryant combo is still one of the most dangerous in the league and there's no need to break that up as long as it's working and putting up numbers.
If anything, Dallas will look to bring in a more stable running back (Reggie Bush?) to try and take the load off of Romo.
Also, Dallas won't exactly be bringing in a top 4 draft pick anytime soon so where will they get a future QB from?
Particularly one who will pass for 5,000 yds.
Having a knack for winning games is an intangible that is difficult to find and a team won't simply throw away their record breaking QB for an unproven player.
Point blank
Sanchez goodbye
For better or for worse
Hello again Mr. Romo

Yeah, Romo def.>Sanchize
no doubt about it.
I think Romo's a good qb, but not a great one.
Cowboys are supposedely "America's Team", but Romo, he just doesn't cut the cheese if you know what I mean.
Romo has how many playoff wins? ONE, could be wrong.
Romo will put up numbers, that's a fact, but he'll **** yah in the end.
His record in December is worst then Santa Claus giving gifts to the naughty.
Romo has proven he's a regualr season warrior, minus December, and he won't take you anywhere.
J-Business said 01/09, 05:45 PM
True he may not bring them a Super Bowl or even a playoff victory but who else can they bring in next season to start over him?
It won't be a draft pick
Their backup was Kyle Orton and he's definitely not going to start over Romo
After that, they have to look at free agents.
So let's see who's hitting the market
Vick, Sanchez, Alex Smith, Matt Cassell
Those are probably the top choices and none of them has any likelihood of doing any better than Romo.
So yes, Romo may not be the greatest option but for next yr, he's their only option.
XXPCHXX.-LBJ6 wins game1!! said 01/09, 06:00 PM
Romo's 1-3 playoff record isn't to Jerry Jones fancy.
Even the Dallas Stars are hating. lmao
"At least our #9 got the job done..... RT:" @dallascowboys Similarly in the category of nobody-cares???the NHL is back!"
Romo and Dez is nice, but Romo, no matter how good the rookie is, just lost to the Skins.
Romo has been starting for the Cryboyz since 2006, it's now 2013! lol
What the hell has he done?
Can we say move on?
I'm not going to sit here and say he sucks, he doesn't, but he's a Troy Aikmen b8tch slap.
Mark Sanchez, yeah, he suxs.
I get that there's no any options, but for the Cowboy's sake, they might need to draft a qb from the weakness that is.
J-Business said 01/10, 10:45 AM
You're suggesting that Romo shouldn't start for the Cowboys next season but haven't provided absolutely any option which would be better.
They won't get a better QB thru free agency.
If they draft a future QB, he'll definitely not start because Romo doesn't necessarily struggle during the early part of the season
Kyle Orton is his backup, so obviously that's not an option
I think everyone agrees that Romo won't win the Cowboys a Super Bowl, but at the same time, in regards to next season, there is simply no better option for Dallas
Romo will be the starting QB for the Cowboys because there simply isn't anyone better available

Someone has to vote, why not me?
Romo is still better than half of the starters in the league. Unless Jerry pulls off some big trade (Matt Flynn to the Cowboys?) Romo is their man.

Right failed to understand the TD....the TD is whether they SHOULD be starters, not whether they WOULD....but right's first argument is that Romo WOULD be with no mention of whether or not he SHOULD be....yeah, Romo probably WILL be the starter, but he certainly SHOULDN'T be...Cowboys have had 7 years of failure while Romo has been surrounded by a lot of good talent, but he has NO leadership skills...

my vote is left for now....if right can post something that actually addresses the topic of the TD AND makes an intelligent argument for why the Cowboys should continue down a path of failure instead of looking for a LEADER for the team, I might change my vote....I don't see how it's possible though...there really is no argument...a less talented QB with some leadership skills would take the Cowboys MUCH further than Romo....

Agreed, Romo should have stayed with Carrie Underwood IMO.

I did understand and address the topic. If the Cowboys have no other better options, than Romo should be the starter. Saying that he shouldn't be a starter without naming any possible alternatives is like saying they can simply bring Manning or Tom Brady over in a NFL 2K trade.
Also, I was away from the computer all day and couldn't vote, and I lost by one vote, lol.
