Make one change to the NFL..

I know this is radical..
I know this is blasphemous..
Some might even go as far as saying.. My idea........ IS A HORROR..
Well boo hoo..

Introduce a 2nd competition..
Play it on Wednesdays..
For 2nd string people..

It's for guys like tebow and Sanchez and leinhart oh my!
Just think if the Vikings QB Had match practice..
Then he wouldn't have looked like a Dwayne dweebly..

I would make the Fines and Suspensions more severe for the headhunters in the league.

To many players are getting KTFO. to many concussions.

This is mainly aimed at the D-backs and linebackers that don't wrap n tackle. They literally go after the receivers head to often.

To many times in conversations about head injuries in the NFL, we hear about these minor fines that mean nothing to these guys that make Millions of dollars. Double the fines and suspension to players who are shown to be reckless.

That is my crazy idea

Although in baseball I sometimes quietly wondered if freel enjoyed the pain..

A 2nd tier competition would complete their needs..

I don't even know what half of your 2nd arguement means.

And what does this 2nd teir competition do for a team? What does it accomplish? and who is actually gonna watch it on a wednesday night over Survivor and Modern Family?

The safety of the players is the most important rule change you can make.

There are still ways to make WR's think twice about coming across the middle besides smashing in their head.

And when the NFL takes a stand against it it will trickle down to college high school and pop warner.

6 timeouts for the entire game. when you use them all up, you're out.
if you ran out of timeouts in the 1st half, you can still challenge, but you lose a 2nd half timeout
no penalty for throwing the challenge flag on a TD/turnover
