Peyton Manning is a sorry excuse for a playoff quarterback!

Disregard the regular season. I don't care how many 16-0 seasons a quarterback has if he ends them 16-1. Manning went 3-0 in his only Super Bowl win. Besides that, he is 6-11 in the playoffs. And five times he went just as he did this season......OUT IN THE FIRST ROUND. Peyton steps up in the playoffs. Steve Young stepped up in the playoffs. Joe Montana was MR PLAYOFF FOOTBALL. Peyton Manning is a joke in Denver, just as he was in Indy. He might as well be Tony Romo in the playoffs. Now, convince me he's a great playoff quarterback.


How can anyone argue this? He's the modern day Jim Kelly. Fran Tarkington. Dan Marino. Until last weekend, Matt Ryan. And he's ancient. Like really old. When the game is on the line, winners want the ball. When the Super Bowl is on the line, Peyton throws it to someone else in field goal territory in sudden death overtime.

I know he had that INT in overtime but Champ Bailey had more to do with that loss than anyone on the Broncos. He gave up 14pts all by himself.

And bucky, Peyton had THREE turnovers, not one. In the end, prove to me that Peyton is a big time playoff quarterback worthy of all the b***s*** "greatest of all time" chatter. You can't, so this will remain unaccepted. Because Eli is the better brother when it counts. Heck, Tim Tebow at least won his first playoff game with the Broncos. He has a better career record in the playoffs too. Manning is a regular season stat ****. Just like Dan Marino was.

One was a blatant pass interference call that can't be called his fault. He hit his reciever it got deflected.

He put up enough points to win the game. Winning in the playoffs is a team game and that was demonstrated that day even if you can't see it. He puts his team up 7 with what? Less than a minute to go and their secondary gets beat by an average at best WR and you blame Manning. That is being a hater plain and simple. Tebow will never QB a playoff game again, that doesn't make him better, only a fool would say so.

Man you guys are stating it up on this one. Plain and simple when it's on the line Peyton and his team haven't come through can he be called a GoaT not with one ring. Top 5 yeah I can see that top ten put it in pen. Why no Otto Graham love here if you want to stat it up 10 consecutive championship games 7 titles. In a statathon there is no other choice especially for Mr Playoff Football
