I like the Jets winning the draft & landing Seth Jones because if they'd then go and get Iginla they could have all of the black or mulato players in the league playing in probably the whitest city in north america. Hooray for cultural diversity
(and yes, I know there is a large contingent of native americans in winnipeg).

Haha delusional first off one of the top 3 has to be from the NW division. Central 4 of the top 5 do you have the Jackets getting any points at all

I ranked based upon points totals at year end. I think the Jackets have the worst year they have ever had.

I could see that. They were the sleeper in my picks they still ain't good enough to make the playoffs but they have far more depth than they've ever had.

Pretty good picks by right. I'll vote that way. Caps are underachievers so I can't argue that pick either.

I see the top 4 teams will be from the central division followed by 3 teams that didn't make it. Are you trying to favor curry from HC with #5

TB and Buf over Fla and the Leafs you don't have to explain the Leafs. I underrated TB cause I hate Boucher's passive forecheck and their weakness on defense is still there add a year to St Louis (I'm expecting him to start slowing down production wise) and LeCavilier (he already has) although is it like Redden where his cap hit makes us more critical of his play and he's seen as a #1 that doesn't produce as opposed to a 2-3 that's way overpaid. We'll see with Lindback. He will have to be sensational and with the short season it's what you're backup does that'll determine how well you do, as you can't afford any slumps by goalies in this abbreviated season

You obviously think more of the Wild signings than I do. You definitely don't have t explain the Oil selection. I picked the Yotes (like the Tampa selection as my underachiever pick) to have serious problems this year. I have learned my lesson on counting the Preds out of the playoffs even though losing Suter hurts, that is one of the deepest young D in the league. You picked San Jose to miss. I picked the chronic underachievers to have one last hurrah with their core in this window. I wouldn't even bet DJ's money on it though
