Either way this sh8ts weird.
You can say, "Poor Manti", or you can say, "what a liar".
Anyway you look at it, it's weird.
Manti had an "online" girlfriend? lmao
Are you kidding me?
I know one thing, if I was a starting linebacker at Notre Dame, the LAST thing on my mind would be an internet girlfriend. If you havn't seen MTV's catfish, then watch it!!!!!

Catfish? Maybe...
It's more likely he needs to spend a little time at "Refuge" in Memphis, Tennessee. Google it.
Oh, and read this...

I'm good man. Online girlfriends are jokes. They usually tip the scales @ 350 lbs.
DO_WORK_SON said 01/20, 07:02 AM
I think you're confusing on-line dating with chatrooms. A survey conducted in 2010 found that 17% of marriages that occurred in the 3 years prior were between people that met online. I doubt the brides in those cases "usually" tipped the scales @ 350 lbs. Now, back to the subject at hand...
As many have said, either Manti Te'o is the most socially inept and most gullible college football star to ever grace a college campus or he's lying.
I'll go with the latter. However, it didn't have anything to do with public sympathy or the Heisman trophy. It was a cover-up for his "alternate" lifestyle. Manti Te'o is a football player. While the homosexual lifestyle is accepted nearly everywhere these days, how many NFL players do you know of that have come out of the closet? Then there's the whole Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints thing as well as attendance of a well-known Catholic university. Te'o had a lot to lose if he was outed.
Questions arise. Primarily, why have we never seen this superstar with any girls? The idea of actually dating a female sickened him to the point that he launched a clever ruse to create a fake girlfriend...
PCH-sting'ER splash!! said 01/20, 06:28 PM
Bro, lmao, if you marry someone ONLINE, you're a complete an utter tool in my book.
Catfish was calling TEO..
Maybe then he wouldn't have pulled one over on the normal college football fan.
DO_WORK_SON said 01/21, 11:19 AM
Bro, what if you meet Bar Refaeli online? Are you still a tool?
Anyway, that's nothing. I knew a guy that met a girl online while deployed to Afghanistan. Online chat turned into Skype sessions. Skype sessions led to a Skype wedding. No joke. He'd never even met the girl face to face. And in case you're wondering, yes, they consummated the marriage via Skype as well. The guy in the room next to him (thin, plywood walls) verified it.
But at least that chick actually existed...
Not only did Te'o's girl not exist, but then he killed her off. Reminds me of when I was 4. I had a pet rock. He died. So I buried him in the backyard.
Either Te'o is the most gullible individual to ever complete a college education at a well-respected institution of higher-learning or he lied. Only reason to lie about it is if you're covering something up. Like your sexual orientation. Nobody is stupid enough to think you're going to get handed the Heisman just because someone died.
Forget Catfish. This is something out of the old Jerry Springer episodes. "I'm gay, but I covered it up by creating a fake on-line girlfriend, and then I murdered her."

I wonder if he told her he was Mormon, and therefore was allowed more than one imaginary girl friend.

I chuckled a bit. What was so ignorant about it? Aside from the fact that he attends a Catholic university...
