The day a hero died..

I was sad when I heard the Oprah news..
No question..
Why?
Cause Armstrong was my hero..

On days of summer college, when I thought I was too tired to run..
I would turn on the Tour de France..
And see Armstrong dump ulrich faster than I dumped my lovely but crazy ex fianc??e..
Or battle the great pantini in the alps..
And it inspired me to go out and run a 10miler..
Plus an American dominating the French past time..
(We Brits have a big rivalry with the French)..
You just knew they hated armstrongs domination..

And he passed every test..
And he came clean..
And he had the coolest quote of all time..
"I'm on my bike what are you on..

All of his rivals were on the dope too..
If everyone cheats..
Then no one cheats..
Ulrich cheated..
Pantini got busted..
Hamilton, basso and landis.. All cheated..
Etc etc..

Armstrong was a huge inspiration to me for 7 years..
He inspired me to push the boundaries.. Physically..
And he did an insane amount of work..
Great work ethic..
Plus he really got me into the tour..
7 tour titles is just fantastic..
It was an even playing field.. Don't forget that..


Well, lets see...

Webster says that inspiration is "a divine influence or action on a person believed to qualify him or her to receive and communicate sacred revelation"

Lance is no better than any other cheater, including that **** that you used to play street ball with. You know, the guy no one really wanted to pick up. It wasnt that he sucked at bball, but more like you didnt want to put up with his BS for the afternoon

The only thing more sad is the people that actually believed he was clean and beating all these other guys who were known to be cheating...he used people's gullibility to make a TON of money for cancer research...it's ALL good...
