Aces & 8 > the Shield

I have to go with Tna on this one.
Aces & 8 is genius. They're pretty much a 2013 spin off of the NWO. New people joining the Aces & 8 each week, or better yet each P.P.V, keeps the TNA fans guessing who's going to join. That was a lotta the fun with the NWO back in the day. The 'ol guessing game.
Aces & 8 at least have some notable names, while the Shield, they're just some tough enough contestants trying to make a name by screwing over the elite in the WWE.
There's no intrigue of the matchup this weekend, on pay per view, the Shield vs Ryback, Cena, and Sheamus. Wonder who's going to win that 1? lmao
Aces & 8 have Mr. Annnnnnnnnnnnnderson, Devon Dudley running things, and Tazz screwing the wedding of Brooke Hogan recently.
If anything, the Aces & 8 are a weak 2013 version of the NWO, and the Shield, well, they're just annoying. I would've enjoyed seeing Ryback as heavyweight champion, but NO. Here come the damn trolls. hahaha

Aces and 8???s is a spinoff of the NWO all right. But the bad NWO. The NWO that had a gazillion factions running around and over half the WCW roster as members. You remember, don't you? Factions such as NWO Black and White, NWO Wolf Pac and NWO Latino. And who could forget NWO Japan??? Well, except for everybody. Aces and 8???s needs to stop adding members and reveal who the leader is already!!!!!! And it officially jumped the shark (and not Shark Boy) when it revealed a heal announcer as one of the latest members. And not the leader of Aces and 8???s. Shame on you Tazz! Devon isn???t the leader of Aces and 8???s. That leader is still unnamed. I???m beginning to think this is like the Black Scorpion angle in WCW (go to Wrestle Crap and look it up if you don???t already know) where TNA has NO idea who the leader is gonna be.
The Shield is 3 members that is all. 3 members seeking to right injustice in the WWE. They made a believer out of me when The Shield named Mr. Jorts (Jean Shorts) himself (Cena) as the face of injustice in the WWE and vowed to rid wrestling of Cena for good. The Shield has the evil genius Paul Hayman leading them, allegedly!

Sure Aces and 8 hasn't named the TRUE leader, but obviously it's going to be a good one.Why else would TNA drag it out? I mean, next Bound for Glory, Val Venis isn't going to be named captain. Sure, nobody can impersonate, or duplicate the NWO in it's hay day. But, as weak as the field is, in wrestling nowadays, the Aces and 8 are something. You know Hogan wanted to do this angle. Remember in October when they said, "Big Things" are happening in Tna soon? Aces and 8 are that, my honest opinion. The best thing about wrestling, if you actually still watch, is the unpredictability, that doesn't happen often, but when it does, it reminds me of being a frkn kid again. haha True story!
Tna isn't better than Vince's establishment, but damn, they're # 2. There's a lot of jealous independant promotions wishing they were #2. The Shield's only appeal is the heel angle, but Aces & 8 has way more backing. Vets who've had their "hay day" for Vince years ago.

And, that just the point. The Shield is making new stars not allowing old washed up ones, guys who had their hay day for vince years ago or guys who are announcers now (Taz) to hang on.
If the leader if Aces and 8's was good TNA would've named him/her by now. But they haven't. Which in wrestling booking 101 means they don't have a clue who it will be. That's no way to run or book a wrestling comapny. This exact same lame booking lead to the Death of WCW. Does TNA want to go that route? I don't think so!
I diasgree that Aces and 8's is unpredictable. It's been very predictable to me! TNA is a distant #2 to Vince and this is one reason why.
What makes the Shield so interesting to me is that we really don't know their full motives yet. Yes, they've mentioned that they fight for injustice and that the face of that injustice is Mr. Jorts (Cena) and I agree with them. He's overstayed his stay at the top without changing his MO one bit in what seems like forever!. They've attacked only faces so far but what do they really want.
We don't know yet and that keeps us watching!

Vince made the Shield to put the guys up quick, for their single's career.
Aces and 8 are taking over TNA, and you don't know who's coming next? It's heel, compared to TNA's best faction to date, just my opinion, Main Event Mafia.
It is a weak weak version of NWO, but wrestling as a whole, isn't the same, so we'll take anything. lol
the Shield are Cm Punk's lynch-men. I don't necessarily care for them. They've screwed over more matches then Bobby the Brain Heenan.
All the guys will be no bigger than mid-carders. It's a pathetic slight bust on Aces and 8, you can tell, even tho WWE is the bigger and better production, that they're competing with TNA's Aces and 8 faction. Tna is killing the heel factions mono-e-mono. Most wwe fans are just watching WWE right now to see Rock or big Brock. The Shield have no appeal to me.
