Out of the 6 that Jordan won, which two competitors/teams would been pretty cool to see win the title instead? *that he played in the Finals

Just going from the 'ol kicker here.

I have the '93 Suns. Chuck never won a title, and a lot of other "elites" didn't win titles either, in the Jordan era. But, Chuck won MVP that year in 93. Chuck had an exciting team. Thunder Dan, the Mayor, and young bucks like Richard Dumas, a chubby donut lover in Oliver Miller, a.k.a Eddy Curry in '93.

found this piece from wiki, thought it would tickle your ears..

refresh your memory.

The trade to Phoenix in the 1992???93 season went well for both Barkley and the Suns. He averaged 25.6 points on .520 shooting, 12.2 rebounds and a career high 5.1 assists per game, leading the Suns to an NBA best 62???20 record. For his efforts, Barkley won the league's Most Valuable Player Award,[29] and was selected to play in his seventh straight All-Star Game. He became the third player ever to win league MVP honors in the season immediately after being traded, established multiple career highs and led Phoenix to their first NBA Finals appearance since 1976.

I'll take the Bulls a few yrs down the road when they defeated the Utah Jazz.

Now just imagine, if the Jazz had beaten the Bulls (and yes it was close, they won 2 games), would Jordan have retired after the 97-98 season? Probably not.

The most likely outcome is that the management keeps the team together and Jordan stays in the game to prove himself.

We know that Jordan had the fire because he came back to play a few yrs later, but this is a different scenario because his championship caliber Bulls team is together.

This would have led to the Bulls going up against both the Spurs team with a young Tim Duncan and David Robinson and even more intriguing......an up and coming Lakers team with Kobe and Shaq

The East was very weak those yrs and the Bulls would have definitely been Eastern Conference contenders against the Pacers, Knicks and Sixers.

A young Kobe versus an old Jordan, would have been classic

It only happens if the Jazz had won a title against the Bulls keeping Jordan in the game a few extra years

Without Jordan and the ref's ridiculous protection of him the Knicks would have had at least 1.

IMO the Pacers had the better opportunity....

Titles or no, Stockton/Malone was one of the greatest pairings in NBA history.

IMO I wouldn't want to remember MJ breaking his ankles against younger players as something to remember him by. He left the game at the right time and he shouldn't have returned for the Wizard years.

It wouldn't have been close, the refs would hand it to Jordan.

Kemp & Payton.Maybe they stick together, Kemp stays in shape, and they become the Stockton / Malone of their generation.Basketball never leaves Seattle, the Sonics course of history is dramatically altered and they never draft Durant, Westbrook, Harden...

Interesting point. I would have liked to see what had become of them if they stayed together. They probably would have to have gotten a new coach. I think George Karl would have worn them down.

The Utah Jazz. No one that played in the NBA has ever had more class than John Stockton, nor more heart than Karl Malone.
