St. Pierre vs Diaz for UFC WW belt

I think Diaz is a highly skilled MMA fighter. He has solid boxing and is a high volume striker. He's very slick off his back, and he's got cardio for days. He also has a tough time against strong wrestlers and unfortunately for him, he's fighting the best wrestler at 170. GSP will stand with Diaz for stretches then take Diaz down, avoid subs and beat him up over 5 rounds. GSP via decision.

Condit vs Hendricks

I know Hendricks is a bigtime wrestler and can KO a moose but I'm taking Condit here. Condit is just a better MMA fighter. He can kick, punch, knee, throw elbows and he's got a sick guard. He can sweep Hendricks or lock something up from bottom. I think Condit submits Hendricks in round 2.

Ellenberger vs Marquardt

Similar fight to the last one. I know Nate didn't look so hot against Saffiedine but that was a bad matchup for him. Look for him to outstrike Ellenberger over 3 and earn a decision.

Ring vs Camozzi

Tough fight. Look for Camozzi to get the better of the exchanges for a close decision win.

Ricci vs Fletcher

Ricci is more skilled and more athletic. His striking is pretty polished. He wins via TKO in round 2.


Three out of five. Decent, but nothing to write home about

Regardless it's all over now so let's get this one off the board.

Jim- I'd love to challenge your picks but I see them the same way. I wish Hendricks would beat Condit but I just see too many ways that fight can go wrong for him.

I wanted to load up on GSP but at -500, it's damn expensive.
I'm thinking I might bet GSP to take it inside the distance since it's paying +275. Nick's a bleeder.

I might to a $50 random +1300 prop on GSP ending the fight during round 3.
But then might have to partially insure that with another $50 on GSP ending it in the 2nd at +1000.
