1. Green..
Dropping 43 points against a red hot Miami..
I remember when they traded him for Perkins, I was like nooooooo!
Little did I know he was a beautiful beautiful butterfly in an average cocoon..
I tip my hat to celts gm.. He knows his basketball..
Green looks like a steal now..

2. Wilson.. Seattle..
We all knew luck and rg3 were going to be beautiful beautiful butterflies..
But raise your hand if you thought Wilson would slam Matt flin to the bench!
Wilson looked unbelievable in the play offs..
It almost looked like he had been in the pros for 5 years..

3. Dickey..
I always thought we would see the cubs win the World Series before we saw a knuckleballer win the cy young..
It's the ultimate Cinderella story..

4. Carlos berlocq..
Tennis..
Only player to beat a red hot nadal, so far this year..
And it was on clay no less..
It's a story he can tell his grand kids for decades..
And his grand kids will still think he's crazy..

5. Gareth bale..
Yeah we knew he was good..
But no one knew he was capable of putting his team on his back via Cristiano Ronaldo style..
Bale is giving out spankings..

I will abide by the 20% Euro-trash rule as per comment #1.

1. Juan Manual Marquez: He walk-off K.O'd Manny Pacquiao. A shot so devastating that the ref didn't even bother counting. Manny (ranked by many at the time as #1 pound-for-pounder) lay face down on the canvas for minutes. AND Marquez is 5 yrs older and fights in a smaller weight class than Manny. Incredible.

2. Andy Murray: Olympic Gold...in front of his home crowd...over Roger Federer. And despite the enormous historical pressure, he destroyed Federer in straight sets: 6-2, 6-1, 6-4. How is this huge UK sports moment not on your list, Froggie?

3. James Harden: Yes, we expected his numbers to increase in his new role. But you're a liar if you claim you knew Harden would notch it up to THAT level - and sustain it for so long. Forget Green's single game performance.

4. Dickey: Good answer. I agree.

5. Jonathan Quick: When Gretzky was traded to L.A in '88, many thought a Cup would follow. Well, better late than never. Quick's incredible MVP playoff perfomance helped take a relative longshot team through 4 grueling rounds and raise the Cup.

Best O' Luck, Froggie.

2 out of 5 are Euro-trash choices.

40% is too much. You need to limit your Euro-trash output to 20% or less.

Everyone knew Mike Trout was a great prospect, but who thought he would put up the numbers he did (as well as the defense)?

Peyton Manning was written off by many, and almost no one thought he would be BETTER than before the injury.

QUOTE(#10):

According to DJ, AP was only going to be a shell of his former self since knee injuries ALWAYS take at least 12 months to heal.

If DJ said it then it was probably wrong....

Actually, what I said was that it typically takes 2 years before a RB is back to 100% effectiveness. He was the exception, not the rule when it comes to serious injuries like the one he sustained.

Eazy to say NOW (after the fact).... 8^D
