So, this about the actual "swing" of the bat.
ONe's that stood out, in a weird way.
No, I'm not looking for "prettiest" swings, if that was the case Griffey Jr. would be my first pick.
for crazy/wild swing..
my first pick....
CRIME DOG Fred McGriff.
Fred McGriff, was a Brave for some years, so Pch got to see that swing an awful lot. What a player, and I wish he could get in the Hall of Fame. Maybe with all these roiders, they might open the door. Either way, McGriff's swing was wild to say the least. McGriff use to wave his bat over his head like a helicopter at the end of swinging motion. It was effective of course, but something I've never seen duplicated.

As a Braves fan I will do you one better. Crime Dog did not "wave" the bat that much. At least not as much as the guy with extrordinary bat speed , one Mr. Gary Sheffield.
Gary was thought to have as much bat speed as any player that played the game. And it started with his Pre launch "torquing" with his hands.
He made the bat look as light as a toothpick with the way he waggled it above his head.
for those of you that don't remember:
???The guy generates the most awesome bat speed I've ever seen???he doesn't just hit balls, he kills them.??? ???Braves manager Bobby Cox

Moron. I said at the end of his swing. He waved the bat around his head after the swing. He did the frkn helicopter. But you are right in the fact that he didn't wave it at the beginning, but if you read my argument, you wouldn't have even said that.
Gary Sheffield's swing wasn't very odd. I mean, they way he twitched it was kinda odd, he did have great bat speed. I wouldn't at all consider him for this argument, maybe you need to read the td over again.
Juan "Gone" Gonzalez had a wilder swing than Gary Sheffield. Juan Gonzales nearly pointed the bat at the pitcher from over his head. lol One full as swing.
