1. Niemi: 23 wins, 2.10 GAA and .927%
2. Lundqvist: 21 wins, 2.11 GAA and .926%
3. Bobrovsky: 18 wins, 2.03 GAA and .931%
I am picking Niemi to win it. Why?
Because the Rangers vastly underperformed. No it wasn't really Henrik's fault, but one can't help but think that NY should be high up in the standings. They're clinging to the 8th seed right now and it's hard to give an award to someone on a team you projected to be at the top of the standings.
Because CBJ might not even make the playoffs. They're also clinging to the 8th seed. It's amazing that they're there and "backup Bob" deserves TONS of credit, but he has 18 wins with 11 losses. The awards in the NHL haven't caught up to the Cy Young type swing of ERA and WHIP vs Wins. The fact that he hasn't hit 20 wins does matter.
Because Niemi has been consistent all year round. Henrik and Bobrovsky had a slow start. Anderson was hurt all year. Emery and Crawford shared starts. Niemi has done it all, for the entire year.

HOMER ALERT! HOMER ALERT
It is tough to take off Niemi or Bob. But I want to be a homer after how great last night was, so without further ado...
JAMES REIMER!!! over that Henrik fellow.
You may argue that Lundqvist has 3 more wins. You may argue that he has a better GAA, or the same SV% but in 9 more games. You may argue that he is a sharp dresser, or that he is was hotter. All these points are perfectly valid.
But one thing you cannot argue is that the Leafs suck and Reimer got them into the playoffs.
Reimer has single handily stole games for this Leafs squad, and he is playing with a terrible defence core in front of him, headlined by Dion 'Pylon' Phaneuf.
The Rangers arguably have 4 defenseman better than any Leaf defenseman (Girardi, Staal, Del Zotto and McDonagh). Not to mention, Torts always has his teams playing a hard defensive game.
Lets face it, Henrik has a better team in front of him. Yet despite that, Reimer has an identical SV% and has his team heading towards the playoffs.
Reimer over Lundqvist.

Topic was 3 and a winner.
Are you then keeping everything the same as me but just swapping out Reimer for King Henrik?
Reimer has had a strong year, to be sure. But Kadri had a monster year for the buds up front. The Leafs were going to swap out their goalie situation and take on Luongo from the Canucks, but they balked when Vancouver wouldn't pay some of Luongo's salary.
Do you really think Reimer will be a Vezina finalist, when his own team almost brought in another keeper?
Reimer has started in just 28 games for the leafs this year. Lundqvist has 22 wins. Reimer's only started 6 more times than Henrik was WON.
2.08 GAA for Henrik, 2.48 for Reimer.
Tukka Rask would be nominated before Reimer. Rask has as many wins, but beats him in every other statistical category. Same with Corey Crawford.
Reimer isn't top 3.
