Open your eyes people. Don't be oblivious. As the older I get, the more I see it.

The NBA is rigged.

The NBA may try to make it look like it's not but let's be real, it is.

The NBA desires large market teams to be in the Finals for one simple reason and one simple reason only.

Money. Money. Money.

The NBA can say all the BS they want that the league isn't rigged. They can use fancy words to throw off the more ignorant people in the world. They can fine players and coaches thousands of dollars. They can say all the crap in the world, but it's all a lie.

2001. Eastern Conference Finals. Bucks vs. Sixers. The Bucks the smaller market team received the short end of the stick with nearly all the calls going against them. Sixers won with the stars of Allen Iverson, Dikembe Mutumbo, and Aaron Mckie going to the Finals.

2002. Western Conference Finals. Game 6. Kings vs Lakers. The Lakers won this game by for with several calls that went against the Kings. Especially a late game no call involving Mike Bibby. Bibby received a bloody nose after Kobe Bryant elbowed him. No call. Lakers received 27 free throws in the 4th quarter alone.

More to come.

Of course the NBA is all about money, and of course they want big market teams in the finals. Show me another sports league that wouldn't want it. Its a business: that's the goal of every pro sports league.

But is it rigged? No, and why now come to this conclusion? Spurs vs Heat : its the stand out far and above two best teams in each conference. This went about as chalk as possible.

Why would the NBA want the Spurs in the finals? Now i personally love watching them: but most people don't. In terms of total NBA merchandise sales they made up less then 1% this year, and never garner too much attention given how good they are. If the NBA is rigged why would they let them go to the finals once, let alone have a dynasty.

If they can rig this so easy, why have they plagued the #1 market NY with **** teams and early exists year after year?

Your bringing up a few games. How many games have been played in the history of the league? I can make up a conspiracy theory to support anything if i get to nitpick from a huge amount of date; but when looking at the whole picture i can see its just now true.

Yes, it is rigged. And the NBA is being for good about not making it look like it. Heck all sports could be rigged. But in my opinion, the NBA would be the first choice on my list for a rigged sport.

The Tim Donaghy scandal is what puts me over the top. The man even said that Game 6 in the 2002 Western Conference Finals was fixed by the NBA. Now, I know it takes a leap of faith to believe one guy, but seeing what happened in the series, it obviously was rigged.

Even to this day it still is. The no call for last years game 2 with the thunder and heat. Kevin Durant drived baseline and got fouled by lebron. No call. The heat had already lost the Finals the year before, and there was no way the NBA was going to let that happen again. Heat win the series.

And even to this year. Just watch the Finals. The heat are going to win. (DUH). There really is no point in even watching because no matter what the NBA is going to make sure the heat go back to back. Sure, the NBA may give the spurs 1 game at the most 2, but at the end of the day, wade will get all the calls and so will lebron.

This is why I'm really beginning to hate the NBA. It's a joke. It's all chalk like you said.

Its the NBA. Scoring plays happen multiple times per minute unlike most sports, its fast and refs are going to miss calls because they are split second decisions. In baseball we don't go crazy if the pitch tracker shows a pitch was just outside that was called a strike; we just know the batter needs to adjust and take control.

Teams attempt like 80 shots per game; so that 160 total. People like to bring up like 1 or 2 calls in a game to say it was rigged. That's such a small percentage of the outcome; and you will never have a perfectly reffed game. If you are counting on call in order to win, you wont win. You bring up game 2 last year; even IF the thunder got screwed in game 2 (they didnt) ITS A BEST OF 7. You cant say that's why they lost

Why would the NBA want the HEAT to win this year? Wouldnt the Spurs winning be better? They would talk NBA the whole offseason on ESPN. "Are they going to break up the HEAT" ; "is wade done"......see not matter what way it goes you can spin it.

But whoever wins will probably just be the team that played better

It's not just 1 or 2 two calls. It's several times in a game. Whether it be to get stars in foul trouble early or to suspend players a game because of a "hard foul", the NBA is manipulating the system. Just another example is when Nazi (Mohammond?) shoved lebron james (who majorly flopped but that's another TD) and the NBA suspends the big guy, something the bulls desperately needed after already losing multiple other players to injury.

Then you may say, well, the NBA got rid of Chris Anderson for a game. Do think the heat really need Chris Anderson when they got lbj wade and bosh? Nah the NBA just wanted it to look like they are playing fair ball.

It's all fixed. The heat is full of a bunch of floppers (Battier, lebron, wade, bosh, haslem, miller, chalmers) the list goes on and on! And the NBA knows that they flop. They might call one or two calls against the heat to make it look like a regular basketball game, but just watch.

( I hope I'm wrong) But I guarantee the NBA will always give the heat the benefit of the doubt in the games and they will find a way for the heat to win.

I've lost all respect for the NBA because the refs are paid and the heat a CHEATERS

So the team who won had more free throws.

That's some correlation you found there.

Why would the Spurs be in a rigged Finals? I call BS on this one...

NOBODY likes watching the Spurs. Ratings hell. No way Stern would rig it for the Spurs to be in the Finals.

Long story short, only way the NBA could be rigged is if the Lakers and Celtics had found a way to make the Finals and that didn't even come close to happening.

Throw the Knicks in that bunch, too.

The Knicks are a great point. Yet when was the last time they won a championship?

You know, the NY Smokescreens to use their NBA coverup code name.

Oh shoot! I shouldn't let that name out of the bag. Oh well! Too late now. I just hope I don't get a visit from Stern.

If left was arguing the NBA was fixed instead of rigged, I'd be more inclined to beloved 'em. ;^D

Miami only won because they went to the line 18 more times then Indiana. Lebron had almost as many free throw attempts as the entire Pacers

Im not saying its fixed, but damn; it does look like it sometimes

so the team that attacked the basket more had more free throw attempts...? that's really strange.

indy attempted almost 3 more free throws per game and only attempted less free throws in 2 games (games 6 & 7). totally rigged in miami's favor...

"The Tim Donaghy scandal is what puts me over the top. The man even said that Game 6 in the 2002 Western Conference Finals was fixed by the NBA"

Tim Donaghy said he had a gambling problem where he fixed games against the point spread of games he officiated. He never implicated the entire NBA of wrongdoing. It's an isolated case.
