Today's NBA is a 3 superstar league. Look at the Heat. Look at the Spurs. Look at the Lakers now and when they won. Look at the Celtics.
As far as the Heat go, only the Lakers have a chance of beating them as currently constructed (and only if they are all healthy at once). The Thunder would have had a chance, but they broke up their trio, and now they're "good not great."
The only player to beat the Heat, the 3-star Thunder, and the 3-star Lakers in a 7 game series is Dirk Nowitzki.
If CP3 and DH want a legitimate shot at a championship, they need to be on a 3 star team (either together or separately), and Dirk Nowitzki is the best remaining superstar on a viable team that has the cap space to sign them.
The Dallas Mavericks also have the best front office and head coach available.
The skillsets of CP3, Dirk Nowitzki, and DH fit so perfectly together that they would be a ridiculously unstoppable tandem, almost to the point of unfairness.

If they were smart.
Dwight should go to the Rockets.
CP3 might as well stay with the Clips.
James Harden is more of player, right now, then Big Dirk.
Cp3, he could have the Boston Celtics old team, then their old coach on the Clip Show. lol

Yes, if they were smart.
They need 3 superstars.
Dwight Howard + James Harden does not = ring.
Aside from the fact that James Harden is allergic to defense and just abandoned his team for more money, a pairing of the two of them would not beat the Heat.
A CP3 + James Harden style duo does not work in the NBA. Look at Jennings (or Curry) and Ellis. Only 1 ball-dominator can exist on 1 team effectively.
Therefore CP3+Harden+Dwight does not = ring.
CP3 + Blake Griffin was a 1st round knockout (and CP3 had to play out of his mind even to get that).
CP3 staying on the Clips = mediocrity.
Harden > Dirk? Lol Dirk is the only player on his team, was hurt and didn't care half of last season, and still dropped 17/7 just goofing around (after single-handedly beating the Heat the year before). If Dirk had played the whole season, Harden wouldn't have made the playoffs last year.
The Celtics/Clippers trade fell through yesterday, and even if it didn't, CP3 + Griffin + KG isn't necessarily the strongest Big 3. Plus LAC is a perennial loser with a bad coach and ownership.
CP3 + Dirk + Dwight + Rick Carlisle + Mark Cuban is better than anything Houston or LAC can offer.

Harden > Dirk? Lol
I don't think a "lol" was needed. I stand by my statement. You're only as good as your last game, and Harden's year last year, first year being a #1 scorer, excellent'e my friend.
Harden and Dwight would be a SERIOUS combo. They have other players you know, Parsons, Jeremy Lin, and Asik.
Where did you get the whole CP3 and Blake Griffin analogy? I know they can't win a title. Harden and Dwight would be more effective together than those two.
Dirk's been in the league since when, '98?
He's no spring chicken. HARDEN>DIRK RIGHT NOW, YES!
KG, CP3, and Blake Griffin would be a nice threesome, def. make it out the FIRST ROUND. KG would play center, duh.

Saying Harden > Dirk is a shamefully embarrassing statement.
Just because Harden can drop 25 a night doesn't make him "better." He can't do anything else, he doesn't play defense, and he's a quitter/team abandoner/money chaser.
Dirk can and will drop 25/9 a night again when he's healthy.
Guys 30+ in the NBA are still balling.
You're only as good as your last game?
So Tim Duncan is a loser and a choke artist since that's what he did his last game?
Marc Gasol is only a 5 rebound guy since that's what he got his last game?
Harden and Dwight would be a fine combo, but not a superteam, which was the point of this entire argument. They would be fine together, but they wouldn't beat the Heat. You need a 3 star team to beat the Heat (unless you have Dirk, who counts as 3 superstars). That's why he just got done winning a finals by himself at 30+ years old.
You do realize nobody has ever seen how destructive Dirk would be with just 1 other star on his team, right?
CP3, Griffin, and KG would be a solid team with an OK shot, but not better than a superteam of CP3, Dirk, and DH lol. Not even close.
The trade fell through anyway though, so it's irrelevant.

So, Dwight Howard and Cp3 should sign with the Mavs, what if they don't win the title quick?
they're ****'d lol
Dwight and Cp3 need a LONG TERM, not a short term.
Dwight with the Rockets, just might need 1 more piece, but damn, that's a good looking team on paper. And, they'd all be RATHER YOUNG.
Dirk's the man, but I doubt Cp3 and Dwight jump onto Cuban's ship.
Another great deal for both, ATLANTA. Come to the PCH STATE, we got the MONEY.
