1. Should Pete rose be in the hall do fame?
2. What rules are better?
American or national league, baseball?
3. Will America ever fall in love with soccer?
4. Nadal vs federer..
Who is better?
5. Sampras vs isner..
Who has the better serve?
6. Pedro Martinez vs roger Clemens..
Who was better in their prime?
7. Who had the more impressive REGULAR season?
The undefeated pats?
Or.. 72 fins?
8. Will Serena Williams be remembered as an underachiever?
9. Was baseball better when there was true inter-league baseball?
As opposed to having inter-league all year round?
10. Is baseball better when the Yankees have a sick team?
That sets the bar?

2. Its a wash.
3. It already has, just doesn't know it yet, until those fans become the money-earners.
4. Nadal. And it's not really close. (My wife made me choose this one)
5. No idea who Isner is, so going with Pete here.
6. Clemens. Plus, he had such a remarkable late career, wouldn't you agree? (wink wink nudge nudge)
7. Fins. They completed their epic run with a back up QB.
10. Again, ???

I personally do no think Pete rose should NOT be in the hall of fame..
He did the cardinal sin by betting on baseball..
And it's still not obvious to me, that he tanked a game to pick up a pay cheque..
If you start tanking games, then baseball becomes the wwf and no one watches it..
2. While I enjoy the tactics of national league..
I do prefer the more power the AL offers..
Baseball was at its best when the Red Sox and Yankees had those loaded line ups a couple years ago..
3. Seems like alot of Americans hate soccer with a passion at the moment..
Seems like the biggest problem is that there is not enough action and points scored..
4. When federer was 27, he had 12 slams..
Same as nadal..
Nadal only has 2 Wimbledon's, 1 us open and 1 Australian open..
That looks awful thin to me..
Nadal desperately needs to pad those numbers up..
And with the bummed knees I don't think he can do it..
5. I've got to go with isner here..
Sampras was more clutch on the big points..
But Isners serve is sooo good he doesn't need to be clutch..
At 6'10, with 140mph first serves.. 120mph second serves..
AND the fact isner gets broken less..

Pete Rose. Quite simply, while I agree with him being banned from the game, I feel he deserves to be in the Hall solely based on on-field accomplishments. Two different things, in my mind.
Soccer. It is already gaining exposure on the networks. Many young folks are into the game, and not just because of MLS, but Premier League and the others (whatever their names are) are gaining more and more airplay. Look at the US' ability to be competitive in the World Cup. When today's youth are in their 30s-40's, you will see even a greater presence in the media.
Isner. How can his serve be so stupendous if it has never even gotten him past the quarterfinals in any Grand Slam event in his 6-yr career? Sticking with Sampras.
I truly don't understand your point #9. Interleague and year-round interleague are still interleague. Unless you are referring to the WS as being true interleague. Which isn't really interleague, by definition of the term.
And no way can Serena, with her 16 grand slam titles, be considered an under acheiver.

He is the worst return of server in the bigs..
If he doesn't control the point immediately..
Then 95% of the time he loses the point..
This is not good!
But in terms of pure serving.. If you look at all the statistics, Isners serve is even better than the great pistol Pete! Heck even Sampras said ivanisevic had a better serve than his..
In grand slams.. Yes, Serena held her own..
In rankings and over all titles she vastly under achieved because she is lazy!
If she had a steffi graff dedication, she could have accomplished alot more..
Serena is a bum! And you can smell it!
9. This year in baseball changed..
Houston became an al team..
Before there was beautiful inter league play in June, and it was exciting to look forward to..
Now there is inter league played in every month and its not as exciting..

What the hell good is an awesome serve, if you have nothing to back it up with? I'm gonna go ahead and purport that Sampras' serve was better in that it set the table for the rest of his game. Sheer velocity clearly doesn't get the job done. Additionally being 6'10" probably severely limits Isner's mobility. Just saying.
And for Serena, if Steffi Graff had Serena's business/fashion sense, she too would have accomplished a lot more as well, just in a different arena. Can't fault Serena for exploring what is passionate to her. It is also what has driven her to succeed in her tennis career. Go Butt!
Finally, Interleague. Its interleague. Doesn't matter if it occurs in April, June, or whenever. The rules are wonky. But it doesn't matter if its scattered through the season, as opposed to a confined group of games after June. Not much different than the NFL in that regard, save the DH rule thingy.
Anyhoo, good TD, and here's to hoping the site gets its ship righted. Otherwise, its been great knowing all you whom I consider friends here.
