I'll give this a go, not that my predictions mean a hill of beans. But it seems like it will be fun so what the heck, here goes. (changes are indented - cause I have no idea how to make text bold)

Denver over Ravens

Cleveland over Miami

Cinci over Bears

Colts over Raiders

Bucs over Jets

Pitt over Titians

KC over Jags

Panthers over Seahawks

Cowboys over Giants

Texans over SD

Philly over Redskins

Detroit over Vikings

Falcons over Saints

Cards over Rams

49ers over GB

I hope 5 changes aren't too many to argue over.

BTW I expect a cut of the winnings from anybody that uses my list in Vegas. However, and I can't stress this enough, I will NOT cover any loses for those using my predictions. :^)

The panthers are essentially a one man team..
Cam newton is good.. But he can't beat Seattle all by himself..
Last year Seattle was nasty.. I just don't see them losing to slouches..

Cleveland is another slouch ha ha..
Plus Miami has tannenhill! The most under rated QB in the biz..
Look for tannenhill to have a great second year and restore pride to this once famous franchise..

The gmen are one of the most schizo teams of all time..
But they were awful last year..
So that means the guys in blue are going to be a force to be reckoned with this year..
Look for Eli to be good Eli this year and top his big bros 7 TD performance..

Saints over falcons..
This one scares me the most..
I'm looking for the falcons to have alittle wobble this year..
Atlanta over achieved last year..
Plus the saints got their man back, Payton..
And usually the saints are nasty under their coach..

I'm just not a kaepernick believer..
Did you know he's never won 3 games in a row..
Why?
Cause he's way too inconsistent..
Have fun with your 2 mans winning streak..

If rg3 is healthy..
This could be a blow out..
Skins win by 40..

The Panthers still have Steve Smith who went over a 1000 yards receiving last year and Greg Olson at TE. He had over 800 yards last year. The third year is usually when a good QB starts to dominate and this is Cam's third year. I also except Seattle's D to take a step back after all the offseason trouble they had.

Cleveland is no longer a slouch. Good RB and improved the D. It's too bad they play in AFC North (not!). Miami has butterfingers Wallace who the talking heads have said isn't a good fit in Miami's O. I'm not sold on Tannehill.

Cowboys always start strong. It's December that usually gets them.

I think Atlanta got the monkey off their back last year and picked up Steven Jackson. Plus I'm not convinced the Saints are much better than last year (Brees threw for over 5000 yards and they still stunk). The Saints D has a lot to prove.

I think not playing a full year last year has more to do with Kaepernick not winning 3 in a row than anything else. He got them to a SB. Plus SF still had a great D and GB OL is shaky.

After just one week of practice, I expect RGIII to be a little rusty and Philly's O to be good. This could be a very high scoring game.

Panthers have never had a winning season under cam newton..
They are slouches..
And they traditionally start off bad..
Lynch has ran for more than 100 yards in 8 of his last 10 games..

Kaepernick can't count on rushing for 181 yards..
Michael Crabtree for 49ers is injured..
He was kaepernicks best receiver..
Rodgers will have a big game..

Vegas actually favors the saints by 3..
Jimmy Grahm is FINALLY healthy..
He's one of the best TEs in the biz..
I need him to have a big game..
Saints offense has always been nasty the past 3 years..
It's just a question of Atlanta scoring 31 points and I don't think they can..

Browns second year QB, is no tannenhill..
The 2nd most exciting white rushing QB, (behind manziel)..

Cowboys always tank meaningful games..
They have given up 100 points in each of the past 5 seasons..
Gmen are hungrier and will show up..
Gmen have won their last 6 of 8 vs cowboys..
Look for the trend to continue..

Healthy RG3 = skins win..

In week one? That usually happens to Vick in the second half of the season. But anything is possible....

Methinks you guys are sleeping on Carolina. I'll bet good money Seattle loses week one. Just a feeling, I guess, but the NFL is never as predictable as everyone thinks it will be and one of the teams I think we all got wrong is Seattle. IMO.

And what's up with both sides picking Arizona to beat St. Louis?

I picked Carolina to beat Seattle. I think Cam will do very well in his 3rd year. He just needs the D to back him up for a change.

The Cardinal/Ram game this Sunday is a coin toss to me. It could go either way. I went with the Cards cause Palmer to Fitz has to work great for at least one game and it could be this one.

I could make a joke about using Vick and fixed together but I'll just let that go,

for NOW!

Sorry for the early vote HCF. I dozed off this morning while I was on my kindle and accidently voted for you. So of course I had to change my accidental vote to one for me since I couldn't just delete my vote. :^)

They are worth a lot.

Lot more than I would've guessed. I just looked it up. One Bitcoin will run you about $100.

In that case I'm lowering my wager on the Carolina-Seattle game. Significantly lowering it, by like 19.8 Bitcoins.

And Dallas still fails to make the playoffs...

September 6, 2013  10:54 AM ET

HCF,

After second arguments what you say we let this lie til Tuesday morning and see who got the most right??? Loser forfeits and if we tie one of us can offer a draw. I know that goes against the cardinal timer rule but I thought it would be fun to let the games decide who wins this TD.
