You have two teams over Real Madrid. The first team, Dortmund have lost to a mid-table German team in the Bundesliga, and lost to Napoli in Champions League. Dortmund isn't as good as they were last year, after shipping Gotze out, along with Leitner. And their best player Lewandowski, has already said he wants out and agreed to a contract with Bayern.
Athletico is a great team, but they are only ahead of Real in La Liga after beating them last week 1-0. After one game, it is way too early to say they are better than Real, after Real beat them in the standings last week by 9. And Real has scored 10 goals in their 2 Champion League games so far.
Roma finished 6th in Serie last year, and Liverpool finished 7th in the EPL. It is too early for both these teams to be included.
PSG, despite all the money they throw around, sit second in a pretty weak French league. Meanwhile they have lost some key players from last years team (Sakho!).
Arsenal, has been impressive this year with their two Champion League wins, and have been plain out dominant in the EPL since they bought Ozil. They are a top 5 team, easily.

I'm confused, you say current, yet you use the previous season to argue against teams like Roma and Liverpool, yet you put Arsenal at #5 on your list, when just last year Arsenal was mired in mediocrity, making it into the English top 4 by the skin of their teeth. And now that they're at the top of the table in what's quite honestly a very weak EPL this year, you want to crown them a top 5 club? Not buying it, and I'm an Arsenal fan.
Roma is perfect this year with a goal difference of +19, that's and average victory by nearly 3 goals a game. That is all.
Liverpool has made great strides this year, Rodgers' vision is taking hold, and Suarez looks like he's sticking around, the epl is weak this year, but Liverpool has proven to be elite so far.
Dortmund is still elite, they lost goetze, but they still sit just one point behind Bayern, and actually have a better goal difference than the team we both agreed was the best. As for the loss to Napoli, **** happens, They lost to a good team, one game doesn't invalidate them.
Athletico is just playing better than real, it's that simple, finished 3rd last year, and got off to a perfect start this year including beating real.

You have Liverpool over both Barcelona and Milan.
Milan has won the second most European Championships with 7, and been in another 3 finals. This clearly puts them as number two. Only Madrid beats them. Meanwhile, Barcelona has won 4, one less than Liverpool, but been in the same amount of finals.
Then looking domestically to compare Barcelona and Liverpool, and you see Barcelona with 22 La Liga titles, to Liverpool's 18 (and Barcelona has been on a role of late, while Liverpool hasn't won anything in 20 years). Meanwhile, domestic cups Liverpool has won 15 (but have two tries per year with the FA and Capital Cups), to Barcelona's record high 26.
Ajax and Juventus both should top United. Ajax had a historic dynasty, and invented the style of football we see today, with the possession games. Invented it!!! Plus they have 4 European championships, and been to 6 finals, compared to United's 3 and 5.
Juventus has only won 2 Champion Leagues, but has been in 7 finals, which is 4th most. Juventus also has 29 Serie Championships, and 21 time runner ups. By far a record in Italy (11 and 8 more than the next best). ManU only has 1 more than 2nd in England.
