UFC should get banned..
It's kind of a stupid idea that after someone gets knocked out, they take 5 or 6 punches to the head...
These are guys that can deliver a punch to the head that is the equivalent to getting hit on the head by a hammer..
They either need to step in quicker..
Or just forget the whole silly idea..
It is sickening to see a guy that is already knocked out, get hit on the head with a hammer 5 more times..
I can see why they thought it was a fun idea..
But eventually this sport will get banned..
It just doesn't work..

You could say that about any sport involving physical combat. And yet after thousands of years, they still exist.
No matter when a ref steps in, you will hear both sides of the argument. They stepped in too early, or too late. With both sides having valid reasoning behind their stance. This includes the combatants themselves.
When the refs step in will have no effect what so ever on the sports.
The only thing that would ever cause the "sports" to be dropped is lawsuits that would eliminate the profits generated for the promoters.
And that won't happen as long as there are attorneys writing the contracts.
Money drives all sports today. Just look at the NFL and concussions.

I'm obviously not a sensitive person..
And I respect the UFC fighters natural ability..
But there is nothing macho about a guy getting pounded in the head 5 times after he is already unconscious..
It's chicken shi---eeat..
What is sooooooo macho about beating up a guy that is already unconscious?
I get bull fighting..
I get the idea of the hunger games..
I get Vietnam..
But in 100 years, people will look back on us for being as bad as the nazi's, when they see video tapes of a guy that is unconscious being beaten to death..
You just don't hit an unconscious person in the head..
He is already having a bad day..

Where do I begin?
Most of the time, the refs are right on top and stopping the fights within a reasonable time. I have never seen them intentionally allowing a "defenseless" fighter to continue to receive punishment.
So you are comparing UFC to bullfighting, where the bull is wounded by various people before the matador even gets in the ring.
To a fictitious combat game from a book and movie.
But you really confused me with Vietnam. What the heck?
And to top it off, to the Holocaust?
Is the real issue here that you were hit too many times after you were knocked out?
But to continue your somewhat convoluted argument, bullfighting, The Hunger Games nor Vietnam have been banned either.
