WWE CLASSIC TD #1: PCH Vs PGH toe 2 toe...Active vs former superstar? Has to make sense to an extent
PCH said 02/23, 10:13 PM
Rules pick one match per round, involving a current wwe superstar, then pick an opponent that was a former superstar.
My first pick...
Bill Goldberg vs Ryback....
Sure, Goldberg's no spring chicken, but his intensity would poop on Batista's right now. lls
(Batista is getting booed @ ppv's)
Ryback and Goldberg are so similar. I mean, it's no coincidence that they scream, "Goldberg, Goldberg!" @ Ryback's matches.
So, Vince should sign the oldie. They just signed Hogan for God's sake, why not Goldberg? WWE's trying to get Sting as well.
I wouldn't be surprised if he finally jumped ship. It's been teased real hard for the last couple years. Off subject, but if Goldberg came back, and I kinda think he should, in a way, Ryback would be the most fitting oponents. Just make sure to put it in a taser ladder match. lol

My first pick:
Cesaro vs Bruno Samartino Jr.
The Swedish Strongman vs. The Italian Strongman.
The Throwback vs. The Living Legend.
The Giant Swing and "Gotch Style" Neutralizer vs. the Bear Hug.
Bruno looked like he could still go at his HOF induction. I say Vince should find out. What's he got to lose.
A match between these two would tear the house down. At Madison Square Garden, of course!
This match would be much much better than the current WM30 Main Event of Orton vs. Batista. WWE better pull a swerve and get Batista out of the MW Main Event or the Daniel Bryan and CM Punk fans could riot.
All kidding aside, a match up of these two would feature two old style wrestlers who relied on strength and power. It would be very entertaining and compelling to see who would come out on top. Either way the fans would be the real winners!!!

That's kinda far fetched, Bruno's like 80.
Was thinking Bad News Barrett vs Bad News Brown, but just read Bad News passed away 7 years ago.
So many of the old RASTLERz that are gone. smh
So, my next pick...
Td's a little more challenging then I first expected.
I say, since WWE just signed Hogan to host WrestleMania, that he comes back and plants some USA bombs on the hippocrite, known as, Jack Swagger.
Big Boot, leg drop? Yeah, he needs a dose.

My next pick:
Daniel Bryan vs. Eddie Guerrero
The Beard vs. Latino Heat.
The Flying Knee and Labell Lock vs. the Frog Splash.
Two small guys who were told they were two small and would never be champions. Told thye would never get over and never draw. Eddie proved them wrong and he'd be glad to prove them all wrong about Daniel.
We'll assume Eddie never died of a heart attack and is nearing the end of his career. One benefit to this senario, no Vickie Guerrero in the WWE. Excuse me! Excuse ME! Would've never been heard. What a pity, NOT!!!
These two high flyers would have had a very exciting match. Each would attempt to ground the other and hit their finisher to get the win.
As to your Hogan pick, I'm just affraid that at almost 60 now, he'll break one of his surgically replaced hips or his surgically repaired back when he drops a leg.
No one wants to see the Hulkster leave on a streacher!!! Not even longtime nemesis Bobby "The Brain" Heenen. Well, maybe Heenen!!!

I was thinking of just having a dance off between Fandango & Disco Inferno, but that's too lame.
I hate to copy half of your last argument, but sub in Sabu for Guerrero.
Sabu is one of the best talents I've ever seen.
Honestly is neck and neck with Guerrero as far as moves go, and we all know Sabu will try the most hardcore feats of them all.
Sabu would also be more Daniel Bryan's style, they are both a little more innovative, no offense to the HOFamer.
At the end of the day, Sabu is not luche libre style, guess that's what i was seaching for. Sabu will jump off a flying helicopter into ring.

CM Punk vs. Bret 'the Hitman' Hart
The Best in the World vs. The Best There Was, Is, and Ever Will Be.
The Pipebomb vs. The Excellence of Execution.
Two of the best technical wrestlers ever!
The Flying Elbow and Go to Sleep vs. The Sharpshooter.
Best part, it's a 60 minute iron man match. The man with the most falls at the end of 60 minutes wins. And if it's tied, Sudden Death Overtime!!!
To make it fair we'll use a pre-stroke Bret Hart for this match.
We can just sit back and watch these two steal the show!
One big problem with Sabu is his tendency to no show events. Better have a back up plan!!!
