SPORTS VIDEO GAMES ARE TOO HARD!!


I stink at video games and don't play them much. My wife and I have the X-Box, Gamecube and PS3. Normally if I do play I will only play a sports game. Right now when I play a game it has been Super Mario Baseball (Yohsii rocks), because it is an easy video game to play. I also find myself playing the earlier Madden footballs and MLB games. The reason is that they are easy to play and you can get the hang of them quickly. I loved getting a 1st down when it was 3 and 20 with Madden 2001. The games might be more realistic now in regards to that kind of nonsense, but they are way too complicated. I don't see how people play them. There are to many moves, controls and views. I hope they make things a wee bit easier so I can get a new game. Anyone remember the Atari football when you had 5 players on each side?? Now that was fun.


They aren't hard, they are easy. All you have to do is start out on a really easy level and everything easy. Then you work your way up to better levels and talents. If they are too hard then why do you have XBOX, Gamecube, and PS3??? Don't have the systems.


I don't know why we have them. I do start on the rookie level and can never figure what is going on. Plus in games like Madden certain players are unstoppable. Like McNabb and LT. It reminds me of Bo Jackson in Tecmo Bowl. Now that was fun. The only fun thing now is making your own team and players. Other than that they remind of some college final, a big headache.


Then don't play them. They have them because most people don't suck at them and enjoy playing them. That is entertaining. Most people don't just want war games, they want sports games also so they can play as their fav. player and/or team.

you gotta start out by using the best team yourself and giving the crappiest team to the CPU. then beating the tar out of the cpu over and over and over. kind of like when you used to play backyard tackle football with your little brother. LOL

Sports video games are easy. That's why they are all I play. When I play video games, I want to relax so playing those mind challenging games do not work for me.

All I need to know in sports games is what buttons to press to score, defend, and etc..

That's why I love sports in general. It gives my mind a break from my intense mind numbing job.

I feel guilty playing on anything other than All-Madden now. I remember I used to hate, HATE playing on All-Pro because I would lose 49-7 every game. It just takes adjusting.

But anyway, Madden is easy. Usually when I first get a new one I play on Pro for a couple games to get the hang of the controls (if they changed from the previous game) and then bump it to All-Pro until I'm completely comfortable, then move on up to All-Madden.

play the new MADDEN on 360 ,these video-games have come a long way,since PONG.These are more of a simulation then of a game.There is know more BUTTON SMASHING moves that will beat the AI. (these opponent s are smart)

My offense stinks though. FIrst like14 rounds I went with O line and D. My QB is VY, RB Brandon Jackson, WRs Bowe and Berrian, TE Eric Johnson.

he does have a point, my favorite football game is NCAA Football 2003. It is simple enough that I can play agaisnt my dad, who knows very little about video games. Of course I play as MTSU and he plays a Okla, and I win by 14, but he won't touch my madden '07 with a ten foot pole. It is too difficult for him. Now, once you've mastered simple games, the complexity of the new games is easier to appreciate, and the fun factor goes up. But I refuse to play my roomate in Maden '08 on XBox because I'm not familiar enough with the controller and the controls are to complicated for someone who doesn't know the controller well. I miss the days where you could pick up a controler on any system and become adequate enough to play.
