The Patriots will beat the Colts.

The Patriots wil beat the Colts for some very simple reasons. With a good performance in this game, Tom Brady will lock his MVP title. Tom Brady is a much better quarterback then Peyton Manning. Just look at their stats.

FIrst, Tom Brady will lock up the MVP title? what? the season is barely half over you can't even talk about that now...what if he breaks his leg next week? way too early to talk about MVP, obviously if he produces all year then yes but it's only been 8 games...

Second, Peyton Manning is a better quarterback if you want to go stats go career stats

Peyton Manning 10 year career
-3283 for 5122
-39419 yards
-288 Touchdowns
-142 interceptions
-94.8 career QB rating

Tom Brady 8 year career
-2094 for 3331
-23995 yards
-177 touchdowns
-80 Ints
-92.2 career qb rating

If you wanna go by rings thats fine and thats all you have for stats and cmon brady won 2 of them cuz of his kicker

Peyton can also control the game better

Tom Brady has won more rings than Manning, gone too more superbowls and was the MVP in two of those. I am not basing my prediction on their career stats, but on their current season stats. Tom Brady deserves an A+, while Manning deserves a A. Look at the Patriots defense, they had a tremendous effort against the Washington Redskins. They are beating oppenents by at least 17 points and scoring at least 34 points a game.

Brady is such a clutch player. More of one than Manning

You can't say someone is a better overall quarterback because of one year..Yes Tom Brady is doing better than Peyton Manning this year probably cuz all the pats do now is throw the ball in spread offense while the colts have a split attack now with addai and kenton keith. the colts have the most rushing touchdowns this season

I think it will be a good game, it's hard to go against the patriots because of the insane numbers they have been posting, but the colts have been laying in the weeds under the pats and beating way better teams just look at their divisions

without the pats the big bad afc east is 4-19
without the colts the afc south is 13-9

the only team the pats have won was against the cowboys

Back to the Throwdown. The Patriots have a much better coach (only coach to win three superbowls in a four year span), and they also have a better offense and defense. They are in the Top 5 in both of those catagories. I think taht the Patriots will score over 40 points, while the Colts will only score 20 or so.

The Pats haven't played anyone yet cept for the cowboys, the colts defense is way better than last year and there offense is still putting up the numbers it should be an exciting high scoring game

Ok...enough of" what if he breaks his leg". football conversation typically assumes they will be there... No one has ever foreseen a broken leg.

well there is no way there can be MVP talk this early in the season that's basically what i'm saying

Report Offensive Comment

No I suppose not, just a good half way gauge, though.

Report Offensive Comment

I think the Pats will, indeed, win the game; however, the arguement presented by Nolan could not have been much weaker...I'll hold off my vote to see if he can actually come up with some valid reasons...

Report Offensive Comment

brady won 2 of them cuz of his kicker - OH real weak.....
Any how did Vinateri get in position to kick those winning FG's?

Report Offensive Comment

yeah true but what happened last year in the AFC championship game when brady needed a TOUCHDOWN??

Report Offensive Comment

Brady threw a pick.

Report Offensive Comment

This has gotten into a discussion of the better QB and away from the TD of the Pats will beat the Colts.

No vote to either.

Report Offensive Comment

Back to the TD...
The team with least mistakes wins !

Report Offensive Comment

yea he threw a pick...hes not as clutch as manning

Report Offensive Comment

In keeping with the flow of running it up, the Pats put 60 on the Colts !! LOL

Report Offensive Comment

Not as clutch as Manning...Time to pull out the "Manning was a 1st rd. pick" story...Brady was 199th overall 6th rd. He wasnt ever even supposed to be spoken of in the same conversation as Manning. And yet here he is being compared to someone bred to be a champion. Its about value as well. Brady had to work harder to be good. He is an ICON in NE, spoken with the names of Bird, Orr, Williams, Russell etc... Nothing Manning ever does can take that away.

Report Offensive Comment

thats fine the colts will put up 63

Report Offensive Comment

colts might rush for 63

Report Offensive Comment

Montana was a thrid round pick...he wasn't highly thought of when he was drafted as well...Oops

Report Offensive Comment

Not as Clutch as manning, up until recently Brady owned the colts, they washed his cars & buffed his shoes.

Report Offensive Comment

yeah! what Jim said!

Report Offensive Comment

peyton manning is going to own the 2 minute drill when his career is over

brady will own the 2 minute drill get my kicker in field goal range and i'll take the glory when his career is over

Report Offensive Comment

This Brady/manning debate is this generations Montana/Marino debate...only difference, Manning has a ring wheras Marino didn't...but it's the same argument....

Brady-NFL record for most consecutive wins in post season: 10 (broke record of Green Bay's Bart Starr). Hows that for clutch?
Oh, 21 straight reg. season wins, I'll add that, too.
