Lakers will make the playoffs this year if Kobe is NOT traded.

L.A. has enough to make it into the last playoff spots in the west.

They do need to trade Kobe. He's going to be a huge distraction to this team if he's there for the whole season. There's definetly not enough on this team to help Kobe make the playoffs On any team that Kobe is on, its like Kobe and then 11 other people, it just can't work. With Kobe there they lose the team atmosphere.

There's really not a great supporting cast around Kobe. Andrew Bynum, Kwame Brown, Luke Walton, Chris Mihm, Vladimir Radmonovic? Lamar Odom is there second option to score, then who else? Derek Fisher? I dont think so, he's a point guard and doesnt score a whole lot. Fisher's averaged 8.7 ppg for his career, and Odom has averaged 15.8 ppg for his career, so in all honesty he's just a solid role player and not a legit second scoring option.

Every player on the lakers bench is capable of getting double digits in scoring every night. Im not saying they all will but they can get it done. The lakers frontcourt is a deep one. enough to get it done. backcourt is athletic enough. kobe scores enough points to cover up for a few players so i dont see why they wouldnt make the playoffs.

The Lakers frontcourt is deep, but not very good. The problem the Lakers have is every opponent knows that its more than likely Kobe is going to take the shot.
At least a few of those Lakers bench players better step up and provide a little bit of scoring. Every team is going to just key on Kobe and let everyone else take shot, because they know everyone else is going to get the job done. Trade Kobe and get some other players, and make the rest of the league defend the entire court against u

kobe needs to leave....and return in chicago...for sure

1 Lakers player has admitted he has a tendency to give the ball to Kobe and just stand back and watch.
Not unlike the way I watch the Budweiser truck when it flattens one of those ~frrooggs~

Kobe will not be traded. Lakers management want too much. Any team that trades with them, would be stupid.
Even Kobe would veto a trade to a team that would give up too much for him to win a championship.
So Kobe stays with the Lakers.
BudLight...which player admitted to giving the ball to Kobe and standing back to watch? Just curious.
