The SEC is the toughest conference is because of the teams in this conference. Look, we got Tennessee, South Carolina, Auburn, Florida, and many more good teams. We are way better than the ACC because LSU had just beaten Virginia Tech. so badly. We have more ranked teams than any other conference. We have 7 ranked teams in the top 25. The other conferences either have 2 or 3 ranked teams. We have the best defense and offense in the nation, and we score more points than any other conference. The SEC has the best passing and rushing defense in the conference. In conclusion the SEC is the toughest conference. Enough said!!!!!!


I'm kinda over this TD and now understand why people get sick of seeing it, but being that when I did I was like yourself a newbie and got all sorts of hell, I'd thought I'd accept and give it another go.

So its your SEC vs all of college football. I think HYPE is a powerful force. HYPE gets you ranked by shlubs who get votes but dont really watch. HYPE gets you losing to a no name team in the SEC and getting folks to say it was because the SEC is so strong. HYPE is the driving force in SEC


The SEC is way better than the Pac-10. Mostly half of our teams are ranked higer than the Pac-10. More of our teams has better defense and offense than the Pac-10. The Big-10 only has Oklahoma, Texas, and Kansas. The SEC has more than that. The ACC is way better than teh Big-10 and the Pac-10 together, and we are better than the ACC. Boston College could beat almost everybody in the Pac-10. So, if they could than we could beat the Pac-10. The SEC average more points than the Pac-10


SEC teams keep falling...falling in the BCS rankings and will continue to fall. I think you meant to say Big 12...and that conference is proving to be better then your SEC if we go by rankings, which appears to be what you are wanting to base your argument on.

I dont think I really need to say much more as the SEC teams are doing a fine job of making my case for me...another conference that is good...but not light years above the rest.


The big-12 only has 3 good teams which are Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. LSU is ranked higher than Oklahoma, Texas, and Kansas. The SEC has Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, Auburn, Alabama, and Kentucky, all ranked in the top 25. Only 4 teams in the Big-12 are ranked. You must be kidding about the rankings in the SEC. The Big-12 has the 3 whack teams that can't win more than 6 games right now which are Nebraska, Baylor, and Iowa State. The only team that could be closest to beating the SEC is the Pac-10 which both of the conferences are the best conferences ever. No other conference could beat us. Every single team in these conference should be ranked. The Big-12 has nothin on us. All of your throwdowns are so stupid right now. You can't come up with nothin better than this because the SEC and the Pac-10 has the best defense and offense in the whole entire conferences. So, you just lost the throwdown. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH. STTTTUUUUPPPPIIIIIDDDDDD!!!!!!


Lost a TD? I'm up 13-3...your numbers are off. You are so stuck on rankings...how's this for some hard facts...the SEC will be lucky if they get 2 teams in the BCS bowls and as we all know those are the only ones that matter. SECs bottom 4 teams ranked now will DEFINITELY fade off the list and then your stuck with 4 left..and lets face it...Auburn is bound to lose one more which takes them either off or at 24/25...so PAAALLEEASE the SEC is so dominant. Hell you even agree the Pac10 is as good. Over hyped, Over ranked, and soon to get a reality check. Good luck sport.

Enough with TD already!!! It ranks up there with....Who's the best QBS in the NFL, Best RB's in the NFL, on and on. Over done....but since you brought it up the PAC 10 is the best and not the cry-baby SEC.

Bowl games last year Big Ten 2-1 over SEC

Michigan has a .771 winning percentage against them.
higher than what they have against the Big Ten.

Geeze - Tressel has 1 bad game in a pretty good career at OSU and the rest of us will have to hear about it for the next decade.

You're 5-5 against the other major conferences - mediocre.

1 win against a team in the top 1/3 of their conference, Va tech, and 1 loss by a #2 teams against bottom dweller South Florida - mediocre


Needed 2 miracle wins in last 2 minutes or less to keep from having loosing record against the other major conferences - less than mediocre.

pssst - Oregon fans - get them started on the Big East and Big 12 - if WVU or Oklahoma fades, you can pick up their sports writers votes in the polls.

Beating each other is a good argument for parity, not having the hardest conference, but a parity of the average.


Year in, year out, whether you look at the overall non-conference record or the number o upset wins vs. upset losses, the PAC 10 either leads or are near the top (and no, I am not a PAC 10 team fan).


Just a Fan - no, its not based on coaching, or they would say "Best Coaches" - its hype based on 1 Tressel having 1 really, really bad game.
