2 best offenses
2 top 5 defenses

Lets draw this up bracket styles:
1. Patriots
8. Steelers
4. Packers
5. Giants
3. Cowboys
6. Lions
2. Colts
7. Jaguars
All of these games can be regarded as "trap" games for all the teams. Jags could beat the Colts, Steelers could beat the Pats, Lions could beat the Boys, Giants could beat the Pack, and vice versa.
So basically, putting this into a playoff format would make it HARDER for the Pats and the Colts to make it to the finals.
If the Pats beat the Steelers, they would still have to play the Giants or the Packers. The Colts would have to go through either the Cowboys or Lions. So either way, each team gets at tough draw. I wouldn't see the Patriots and Colts making it to the finals through this playoff format.

how do you have the jags 7 and the steelers 8

Because according to NFL.com's standings, the Jaguars are currently ahead of the Steelers. Here's a C&P of the list:

ok but it isnt the end of the season and how abou tyou take a look at the Scheudles
O and by the way touchdown Randy Moss thas what the whole game is going to be like for the Steelers
there goes Wayne down the sidelin thats how the game against the Jags Went
DJTG_2010 said 11/02, 07:11 PM
Well you never specifed whether it was right now or not, so I just went with what was readily available to me.
The Steelers have a good enough D that could potentially stop the Patriots.
The Jaguars could also potentially beat the Colts again.
There's not much more to say. By waiting till the end of the season, more teams that are better (aka, the Chargers) could be in the playoffs that could beat the Pats or Colts.
Not as easy as it seems.

Lions cannot beat the Boys...........

Report Offensive Commentthe steelers couldnt beat the pats, there is only one team on that list who can beat the pats anytime, and there is only one team on the list that can beat the colts anytime and i think the giants and lions would win, but your forgetting san deigo who is going to be the third best team in the league, record wise, and skill so it should be right now.
1.Colts
2.Pats
3.Boys
4.Giants
5.Chargers
6.Pack
7.Lions
8.Titans
I put the colts ahead of pats because until you beat the defending champs they deserve to be number one, even tho the pats have torn up the league so far.

Report Offensive CommentThat's a little hard to follow, but that is my source. And speaking of that, I should have put the Colts ahead of the Pats. It doesn't affect it that much though.

Report Offensive CommentAny Given Sunday. I'm sick of hearing how the Pats are unbeatable. That's what they said about USC in 2005, the Rams in 2001, the Lakers in 2004, and on and on. Any team can lose.

Report Offensive CommentTo make it more of a trap game, I'd pit Cowboys against Giants and Pack against Lions. All bets are off on divisional games.
And I also think the Chargers should be on that list in place of the Jags.
