i believe that this will be the western conference starting all-star team:
PG-Steve Nash
SG-Tracy McGrady
SF-Shawn Marion
PF-Carlos Boozer
C-Tim Duncan

PG- Steve Nash
SG- Kobe Bryant: He is already averaging 30+ per contest. He put up 45 in the opener for his team. Also, the Lakers are a respectable 2-2 with an impressive win over Phoenix. He is also averaging 8 rebounds and 5 assists.
SF- Tracy McGrady: He is also a small forward as well as a shooting guard.
PF- Tim Duncan: He is also a power forward as well as a center.
C- Yao Ming: This guy gets practically all of China to vote for him every year and wins in landslide numbers to be the starting center for the West. But besides the huge amount of voters he is also averaging 21 points and 11 rebounds for those not in the know.
One of the problems Boozer will face is playing in such a small market. Salt Lake City isn't the best place for people to recognize a good player. He will have a tough time getting many votes which is why he will not start.
Shawn Marion is still the third wheel not matter what. He was terribly disrespected in last year's All-Defensive team voting where he was second in DPOY but failed to make either team. Also, his 17 points and 11 rebounds a game doesn't compare to T-Mac's 33 points, 4 rebounds, and 6 assists a game.

I would have to say some one else besides Carlos Boozer and maybe T-Mac, but he is off to a great start, so its only Boozer

I have a question. Am I picking the best 5 players in the WC or who I think the fans will vote in?
