Illinois will beat Ohio State this weekend


Illinois will upset (Gasp!0 Ohio State this weekend. A dismal 2-10 Illini team last year only lost to OSU by 7, and OSU played well that game. Illinois has a good running qb in Juice Williams, a great 2nd team All Big Ten halfback in Rashard Mendenhall who will be a 1nd or 3rd round pick in two years, and a future first round pick and future All American in true freshman Arreleous Benn. Illinois Upset then number 5 Wisconsin, then Number 17 Penn State, and as ranked number 19 in the country, until they lost to a good Iowa team. OSU on the other hand, hasn't been tested well enough, and the only reason they won was because Wisconsin imploded. Illinois gave Michigan a tough ride, and will beat Ohio State this Weekend 31-24


except that they wont. ohio state is too good.


Why not?! Ohio State has a countdown clock till they play Michigan going right now. They expect no game out of Illinois, and they will be knocked on their ****. Rashard Mendenhall will go for 100+ yards and 2 touchdowns, and Benn and Williams will come up big. Ohio State is the most overrated team in the country, and Illinois is way underrated. Illinois goes to the Outback Bowl, and are the most improved team this year. Kansas will be knocked on their **** by Oklahoma in the championship, and Illinois is for real. Ron Zook should win the coach of the year award, and Illinois will roll.

ohio st's run defense is phenominal! as much as i want illinois to win....and an illinois fan...i think OSU will win...and i want them to make it to the BCS Champ game to make all the SEC fans mad

Yankee, what a terrible argument. I'm embarrased.

And no OSU did not play well against Illinois that game. We turned it over numerous times and the offense played poorly.

By the way, OSU has always had that countdown clock; they didn't put it in this week. And so far, it hasn't affected them. I think after that Florida game (and seeing all the upsets this year), they're on a mission to make sure that they prove all doubters wrong. Juice Williams is simply not good enough right now to win IN THE SHOE. OSU has a pounding defense and I think the Bucks will get it done.

One thing is wrong with Kingpeters comments... Ohio State is not looking ahead to Michigan. This game will not be close as it is the last home game of the year and it is senior day. I would not be suprised if Illinois is shut out.

No matter how bad the arguement, there is no way this voting can be so one sided in favor of Illinois. Typical OSU envy once again.
