Well first off, the Browns are 5-3, so they haven't been winning every game so far.
I'm going to have to go with my Packers. 7-1? I didn't even see that coming. I was gearing up for an 7-9, 8-8, or 9-7 season. Favre has been playing like a young man again while the receiving corps of Driver, Jennings, and Jones has been unbelievable.
So why are the Browns more of a surprise?
big steel said 11/11, 10:38 AM
because they got hammerd in the first game vs the steelers and beatthe seahawks, bengirls, and the rams thats pretty good.
DJTG_2010 said 11/11, 10:43 AM
The combined record of the Seahawks, Bengals, and Rams is 6-18.
I don't think that's pretty good.
Could you please give me some actualy REASONS why the Browns are more of a surprise than the Pack? I want to have an argument here.
big steel said 11/11, 10:47 AM
because the last years the brownies hve been horible. the packers have very ,very good they is why.
PS the browns might make have achance in a wildcard!!!!!!!!

The Packers were 4-12 two years ago. They were 8-8 last year, but they were thought to have regressed in the offseason. NO ONE, not even the biggest Packers homer would have them at 7-1.
Browns in the Wild-Card?
Try people having the Pack in the NFC Championship Game.
NFC Championship Game > AFC Wild-Card.
Anywho, the Browns having a good year was not totally out of the question: the maturation of Kellen Winslow and Braylon Edwards was expected, and the addition of Jamal Lewis was a big help. The defense has playmakers such as D'Qwell Jackson and Sean Jones.
This wasn't totally out of the question.
Packers are more of a surprise.

Browns have more wins this year than last year. Packers still have less. Vote to steelers

Because the Browns were supposed to be 3-13 or 4-12 this year. Brady Quinn is supposed to be the starting QB. Braylon Edwards is supposed to be tearing apart the locker room. Romeo Crennell is supposed to be out of a job by now. That's why.

Most people were saying the Packers would be 5-11. They called last year a fluke. Vote to my fellow cheesehead.

Horrible argument so vote goes to the Packers. I am more surprised by the Browns though. Both teams have been better than expected but the Packers showed some good things at the end of last year and in the preseason.

I'd say the Rams are the most surprising team in the NFL- they were picked to win the NFC West and now people are wondering if they'll win a game this year.
That...everyone... is a suprise!
But point to DJ for actually defending his opinion.

DJ, you wrote on my wall and I have no way of responding to your comment. That's why I come here. The best is when the Soulja Boy ringtone starts poppin off at inopportune times.

Browns are more surprising, because they're in a tougher division, and no one saw them having an even close to .500 year. The packers had a good defense, and you could see them doing well. Browns are more surprising, but my vote to DG, cause his argument is better.
