TOP 5 NFL MVP CANDIDATES; players first, arguments later

1. Tom Brady
2. Brett Favre
3. Ben Roethlisberger
4. Adrian Peterson
5. Derek Anderson

1. Brett Favre
2. tom brady
3. Ben
4. Owens
5. peterson

tom brady is the best player on the best team right now, look at the numbers or turn on ESPN

favre has carried that packers O to this point in the season

roethlisberger will prob get comeback player of the year, and has had a remarkable season compared to last

AP is simply having the greatest rookie season for a running back in memory

Derek Anderson is turning the browns thats right the browns into legit contenders for the playoffs

favre over brady is ridiculous, brady may be having the single greatest season of any NFL player ever, and TO doesnt belong in the top 25 for MVP yet alone top 5

dont pick mvp's from teams like the lions browns or saints they are false hopes. Falling threw a never ending eddy of dispair. Did i spell that right ? How did that hurt ankle peterson do today ? point set match. He may be rookie of the year but he's no mvp lol i just put him there to have a chance with the kids in here lol

wow attack a guy with an injury, compelling stuff (and it was his knee), and i picked anderson because have you seen the difference between the browns under him against the steelers and when frye was quarterback, he almost lead the brownies to victory unlike frye's hapless attempt to play qb in week one, the only two false hopes on this throwdown are TO, not even the MVP of his team, and your attempt at poetry

without owens dallas is done
vikings proved today....no 300 yards from peterson equals no points
the other 3 i selected go without saying
im right you know...................................................................

Owens? That's idiotic. You mean Romo?

what is your top 5 peavy

Dumber. Than. Dirt.

Both of you.

Ben Rothlisberger 3rd?

And Brett Favre #1???? He's not even top 3 in QBs, let alone players.

I'm asking myself the same thing Jason... How can these two guys forget WR Randy Moss in that top 5. The guy has amassed 924 YDS already and he's the number 1 WR in the NFL at age 30 with 10 years under his belt. Yes you can say Brady was the guy throwing to him, but how many passes did Moss pull down in double and triple coverage? How many did he make by keeping his feet inbounds? The guys is having a hell of a season and shouldn't go without being recognized.

Adrian Peterson won't get MVP even though he has reached the 1000 YD milestone, and the reason being is they will give him "Rookie of the Year" instead.

So neither of you will get my TD vote.

How can you not have Romo in there?!?!

His team has a better record than Roethlisberger/ Andersen. He has more TDs and yards than both... Better yards per attempt than both... more big plays than both... he basically owns them all around.

He is better than Favre, too, IMO, but MVP is Most Valuable Player. And while Romo is INCREDIBLY valuable to the Cowboys, the Packers offense would contend for most futile in NFL history if it weren't for Favre.

WOODSON U GOT JACKED UP

Randy Moss is considerable, But without Brady, there not the Top Super Bowl contender. 3 Championships w/o Welker, Moss, Stallworth.
