Build the best offense in the NFL - any 11 starters from either league

I'll let you go first.

QB- Tom Brady
RB- LaDainian Tomlinson
RB- Adrian Peterson
WR- Hines Ward
WR- Braylon Edwards
TE- Dallas Clark
OL- Joe Thomas
OL- Steve Hutchinson
C-Olin Kreutz
OL- Alan Faneca
OL- Matt Light

Rule Breaking
Slot WR- Wes Welker
Kick Returner- Devin Hester
Kicker- Rob Bironas

Some interesting choices at WR. I like. I'm heading out the door, so I won't have my team up until later.

That's okay. I will explain my WRs: Hines Ward, because he is a yardage fiend. He is not afraid to go across the middle, fight for that extra bit, or make the tough catch. Edwards because I am a homer partly, and also because he is doing acrobatics now. (See: Rams and Bengals games) Also, he is pulling down TDs from every where, and putting himself in the conversation for best wide receiver. With Ward, Welker and Clark getting so much attention, Edwards will be the benefactor of Tom Brady's rewards.

QB Tom Brady - Last year it would have been Peyton
RB LaDainian Tomlinson - the second best QB on the field, and while Peterson is good, LT is still more of a total threat
RB Reggie Bush - I think as a feature back, Bush is overrated, but as an pass catching, trick play, and slot back, he adds a great dimension to my offense.
WR Randy Moss - circus catch after circus catch
WR Braylon Edwards
TE Kellen Winslow - great total package
T Marcus McNeil
G Steve Hutchinson
C Jeff Saturday
G Alan Faneca
T Matt Light

Slot WR - Welker
Returner - Hester
Kicker - Kris Brown

There differences, I have Bush over Peterson which may seem crazy, but the point of my offense is to be as flexible as possible, and make it impossible to defend. Between Bush and LT, you can do anything, where as Peterson just runs downfield. Moss over Ward. I like Ward, but Moss is insane. Winslow has always been good, even on bad teams, and with bad QBs throwing to him. He is a difference maker at TE. I've got McNeil over Thomas, and Saturday over Kreutz.

Lastly Brown isn't playing for a team that scores a whole lot of points, but he has a cannon leg with great distance, and he is always extremely accurate to b

Reggie Bush? Sure he is versatile, but over AD? I like Peterson better in almost every phase. He can catch rather well, and has even returned a couple kicks. He is a better option at RB. Kellen is okay, but I have to admit Clark is better all around. (This is probably why I am not ef's choice as Browns homer) Joe Thomas is playing like a grizzled vet and has not allowed a sack all year. Kreutz could possibly be a HOFer.

I tip my cap to Esco, a smart and classy opponent. I look forward to this TD.

Thank you, ender.

Oops, I meant to make that a comment, not one of my three arguments. That's what I get for being in a rush. Either, way I still have my one post to post my team.

I know Dallas Clark has good stats... but to take him over Gates?

Report Offensive Comment

Hines Ward? how that guy randy moss or Marvin Harrison

Report Offensive Comment

Now see.

Report Offensive Comment

I still don't see how you can go Clark over Gates.

I'd even put Witten in over Clark, he's a better blocker.

Report Offensive Comment

i respect hines ward because hes the steelers best wr by far...yeah holmes is good but defenses put schemes together to control hines ward. wards intensity and blocking ability and his physical play i think makes him one of the best all around wr in the league

Either league? What?

And you wasted BOTH of your first two arguments? ****?

Report Offensive Comment

I was running out the door, talking to my wife, and wanted to take some time to think about my picks. Now I'm starting with a 8-1 deficit, and that one vote is mine! Can I regain any ground?

Report Offensive Comment

This is sad, everyone voted before I even posted my team, and no one has voted since.
