Lynch has rushed for 751 yards and 6 rushing Touchdowns. He averages 3.8 yards per carry.

Willie Parker has rushed for 873 yards and 97 yards per game which is the most in the AFC. He has 2 TD.

Addai has rushed for 760 yards. He also has scored 7 rushing touchdowns. He has gotten 45 1st downs. He averages 4.4 yards per carry.

L.T has rushed for 733 yards so far. He also has rushed for 8 touchdowns. He has accounted for 43 1st downs.

Westbrook rushed for 701 yards. He has 5 rushing TD. He averages 4.8 yards per carry. He has accounted for 38 1st Downs.

Peterson has rushed for the most yards in the NFL with 1081. He is injured now, but still has been the best in his division.

Bush can run and catch. He has ran for 451 yards and 4 touchdowns. He has accounted for 27 1st downs.

James has ran for 678 yards and 5 touchdowns. He averages 3.7 yards per carry. He has accounted for 32 1st downs.

Alright Maurice Jones-Drew has rushed for 536 yards and Addai has rushed for 760 yards. Also Jones-Drew has rushed for 5 TD and Addai has rushed for 7 TD.

Now about the average, I know MJD has a higher average, but he has way less attempts. Also when the Colts are winning, Addai runs the ball at the end of the game and the other defense probably is looking for the run and stacks the box up by brining 8 or 9 people up.

Now Addai has accounted for 45 1st downs by running and Jones-Drew has only accounted for 26 1st downs. So Addai keeps the drive moving better than MJD does. That is important for the team to have.

Addai has 221 receiving yards and MJD has 235 yards through the air. Now Addai has 2 receiving TD and MJD has no receiving touchdowns.

Jones-Drew has fumbles two times and lost both of those fumbles and Addai has never fumbles the ball yet.

When the Colts played the Patriots, Addai had a great game, he rushed for 112 yards and had 114 receiving and 1 TD. That is over 225 yards and 1 TD. Now against the Chargers he only rushed for 56 yards and the Colts lost. That is how important he is to the team.

I never said that the reason why Jones-Drew has a good average was because of his less attempts, I just said that he has much less attempts than Addai.

Now since MJD and Fred Taylor share carries that gives Jones-Drew a little time to rest. So since Addai does not have someone to share time with, he is in on every play and plays more tired than Jones-Drew.

Now you mentioned Addais big gain was the bulk of his yards. Well Jones-Drew has 6 rushes for 20 or more yards and 2 gains of 40 or more yards. Addai only has 2 of 20 or more yards and none of 40 or more yards. Addai has a gain of 23 yards which is his longest run.

The least Addai has rushed for in 1 game was 72 yards and in that game he had 2 TD. He has 4 games of 100 or more rushing yards. He has scored a touchdown is 6 of his 8 games this season.

MJD has a run for 57 yards which is his longest. MJD only has 2 100- yard rushing games. He has scored a TD in 4 out of his 9 games. MJD has 6 games of 52 yards or less.

Also Addai is on a first place football team and MJD is not. That has nothing to do with it, but I just wanted to throw that in there. Addai has had at least 2 catches in each game.
