FYI readers.. we changed the 2000 rule

Anyway, I would take Roger Clemens over Joe Nathan anyday of the week. Clemens is HoF bound; Joe Nathan.. i dont know

Manny Ramirez was never traded.

You can have Griffey, hard to argue against him..

But your list is wrong cuz Manny was never traded.. he was signed by the BoSox

I would take Joe Nathan over Roger Clemens because Joe Nathan can offer you a sure win in the ninth inning and Roger Clemens doesn't always do that. He hasn't really been as good as Joe Nathan has in the past 2 years.

I would put Griffey instead of Carlos Beltran and Bobby Abreu. Abreu really hasn't done that much in his years of playing.

Clemens may not close the game out, but he gives you almost a sure W before the game starts. He has won 7 Cy Youngs and is possibly the best pitcher of all time, well top 10..

I said you can have Ken Griffey Jr.

But taking Nathan over Clemens is CrAzY

Wow, we both messed up. Manny wasn't traded, Ortiz was traded in 1996. Okay. I picked Joe Nathan over Roger Clemens because Clemens really didn't do that great after he got traded, and Nathan did better after he was traded. That is the only reason Nathan got the vote.

FYI Ortiz was traded he was a player to be named later.. that counts

Yo, I can't do this right now. I'll do it either later tonight or tomorrow. Is that alright?

Manny was signed??? DAMN GOOGLE SEARCH!!!!

I voted for Mr news and then I even looked it up to make sure everyone was correct like especially Manny( i thought the sae as Gu3, and then all of a sudden it really convinced me he was traded. It was a very odd process, I have to change my vote and I'm angry at google because I like to look things up so I know who is right and wrong and Gu3 gets my vote because of it.

I hate internet sites that decieve people.

Report Offensive Comment

I would take Roger Clemens over Joe Nathan also. good pick Gu3.

"But your list is wrong cuz Manny was never traded."

True. But the BoSox have TRIED to trade him about 2 dozen times, doesn't that count for something? ;-)

Report Offensive Comment

Clemens is a jerk, but arguably the best pitcher of all time.

Report Offensive Comment

I think that Clemens is a good man, but just wants money and he his a good pitcher. I would also put him the best pitcher of all-time, but Joe Nathan will offer you more years.

Report Offensive Comment

HOW DOES HE HAVE 7 VOTES..
come on! Joe Nathan over Clemens..
and Manny wasnt even traded

Report Offensive Comment

haha your right you can't argue against griffey. Lucky he was traded like February 2000, otherwise Gu3 dominated

Report Offensive Comment

"Clemens is a jerk, but arguably the best pitcher of all time."

Let's not go overboard here. He's been a great pitcher for a long time but "best of all time"? No way.

Ortiz was traded pre-2000

From baseball reference.com

November 28, 1992: Signed by the Seattle Mariners as an amateur free agent.

September 13, 1996: Sent by the Seattle Mariners to the Minnesota Twins to complete an earlier deal made on August 29, 1996. The Seattle Mariners sent a player to be named later to the Minnesota Twins for Dave Hollins. The Seattle Mariners sent David Ortiz (September 13, 1996) to the Minnesota Twins to complete the trade.

December 16, 2002: Released by the Minnesota Twins.

January 22, 2003: Signed as a Free Agent with the Boston Red Sox.

No vote to either - guy who started the TD forgot about his own post-2000 rule and the other guy has Manny (never traded).
