1)LT-all out beast

2)brian westbrook- carrys the eagles and is a beast like LT

3)A Peterson-do i even have to say come on he broke the yards in a game record but not as great as westbrook or LT in a few years maybe but not right now

Okay Westbrook deifnatley shouldn???t be in there, I???d go

1. AP
2. LT
3. Joseph Addai

Honorable Mention;
Maurice Jones Drew
Brian Westbrook
Clinton Portis

I know I???ve argued that MJD is having a better year, but I think Joe Addai is a better overall back.

AP might seem high but the guys a rookie and he???s already broken the NFL rushing record in a game, he leads the League in rushing TDs, yards per carry, and rushing yards. The kid???s already the best RB in the league and the scary thing is he???s gonna get better

One 1,000 yard season in 1 year, 6.4 career YPC, 8 career rushing TDs

LT started out pretty slow this year but he???s a great overall back. He???s picked up and he???s tied for first in TDs, I just think AP is a better overall back right now.

Six 1,000 yard seasons in 7 years, 4.5 career YPC, 108 career rushing TDs

Joseph Addai rushed for 1,000 yards last year without starting a single game, and he???s picked up where he left off last year, 3rd in Rushing yards, and tied for second in the NFL in rushing TDs on 4.4 YPC.

One 1,000 yard season in 2 years, 4.6 career YPC, 14 career rushing TDs

I'll argue your picks in my next argument.

man o man no west are u crazy with out westbrook the eagles would probly be winless ok he is an all out beast he carries the eagles

Lt great back every1 knows that he should be #1 man he is a beast he might not get the whole spot light like westbrook does only because big names on that team such as Gates

Now 4 AP yea he is beastin it this year but as a rookie do u really know probly in a coulpe of years he'll be great but right now u just dont know. if he is gonna be great put him up aginst a team with a great run D and see how he does i mean any RB can run all over the team with the worst run D but can he do it like a team i dont know like the Pats

Okay Westbrook has ONE 1,000 yard season in 5 years and he???s only scored 25 rushing TDs in that span, Here???s his average season;

830 yards, 4.7 YPC, and 5 TDs

Good but definitely not top 3 in the NFL.

Addai???s averages
920 yards, 4.6 YPC, and 7 TDs

And that???s in less than 2 seasons in the NFL and one as a starter

???if he is gonna be great put him up aginst a team with a great run D and see how he does i mean any RB can run all over the team with the worst run D but can he do it like a team i don???t know like the Pats???

Hmmmm lets see, The Chargers were a top 10 rush defense when he absolutely SHREDDED them for 296 yards, The Packers are number 6 currently and he rushed for 110 yards against them early in the season.

He???s proved he can run over pretty much any team in the NFL. 6.6 yards per rush is pretty impressive.

???Lt great back every1 knows that he should be #1 man he is a beast he might not get the whole spot light like westbrook does only because big names on that team such as Gates???

Do I really need to say anything? LT get too much spot light

In order or not?

Wait my bad

November 18, 2007  03:48 AM ET

addai does not deserve to be on that list he has an incredible offensive line and the luck of having such a great qb that it keeps the secondary back and the linebackers guessing.

westbrook, potis, lt, barber III, peterson, and gore belong above him

November 18, 2007  03:49 AM ET

if youre going to compare westbrooks stats to addais then you have to include receiving which westbrook will kill him

November 18, 2007  03:59 AM ET

AP top 3....no way

November 18, 2007  03:59 AM ET

If we're just going by this season - Westbrook should definitely be in there - along with LDT and Addai

November 18, 2007  11:38 AM ET

Westbrook should be on there since he is on pace for 3,000 total yards

November 18, 2007  12:02 PM ET

There is no reason why Addai shouldn't be on that list Swoosh.

Coach Taylor, you don't have to use Microsoft Word anymore. You can just type your arguement in the arguement box because it now lets you type 1200 characters without saying that you exceeded the limit at 500 characters. so you can just type it in the arguement box.
