Sholud the Angles have picked up Miguel Carbera?....or should they still?but would that be too much money

He would be great at thrid then they colud move Figgins over to short. He would be a huge power hitter he wolud be on base for guys like Hunter and Vlad. He is young and always healthy.
Im not trying to make myself lose my own argument but it might be too much money for the Angles to spend.


You said yourself that he is young and healthy. Even though it will cost money to sign him, the angels could get rid of some of their payroll by trading ervin santana, brandon wood and/or Mathews Jr. (we could trade Junior because we would then only have three outfielders and then that would leave room for another DH). I think that Miguel Cabrera would definetly make this team a World Series contender if they picked him up (little early, I know). If not a favorite to win the World Series then they are least a team that can make it to the playoffs. even without Hunter and/or Cabrera the angels would of made it to the playoffs.

if they sign cabrera, then the angels could potentially be making more money because of the following reasons:

1. with the team that the angels would have, a lot more fans would want to come and watch, there would be sellouts for every home game.

2. If the angels make it to the playoffs then they will get extra money and for every round that they advance they would get extra money

3. if they sign him to a long term contract, then the angels would benefit because then they could pay him over a period of 5 to 7 years.


i argee i think he would be amazing......he would be worth the money

I'm not real certain what this argument is about. It seems you are both arguing the obvious...that Los Angeles of Anaheim in Southern California bay area Angels, or whatever they are called these days, would be better with Miguel Cabrera in their lineup? Well...DUH.
