I have absolutely no idea how you think Tony Gonzales is better than LT. He's a great tight end, but who would you rather have on your team. And Carson Palmer, Chad Johnson, Houshmandzadeh, AND Palumalu are ALL better than Hines Ward.

First of all, brett favre is much better than ap. he just broke dan marino record a couple weeks ago. he threw more than 60,000 yards in his career. he is now the best player living.

Your question is the best player from each division. NOT the best of all time. Yes, Brett is a great QB, but AP is ON FIRE. How do you pick MARQUES COLSTON!?!?! Yes he's a decent receiver, but Brees, pro bowler, Steve Smith, pro bowler, Colston, not so much. Hines Ward isn't the best receiver in his own division let alone the best player (Chad Johnson, Houshmandzadeh, Braylon Edwards, etc.) And how the hell do you pick Hasselback over Steven Jackson, Torry Holt, Fitzgerald, AND Boldin. There are a few Future HOF players you missed out on. I'm not sure if you've heard of Ladainian Tomlinson and Peyton Manning, but they're pretty good.

Why did you do it twice?

No one gets the vote since both of your lists are terrible.

November 25, 2007  11:26 AM ET

I forgot to mention Willie Parker

November 25, 2007  11:27 AM ET

Keysta gets my vote. chargers08, you have no idea waht your talking about

November 25, 2007  11:28 AM ET

Both lists are pretty bad here. There is a clear better one though...

November 25, 2007  11:29 AM ET

You didnt even take the best safety in the division (ed reed)

November 25, 2007  11:30 AM ET

personaly, I think both Ed Reed and Palumalu are equal. I could have flipped them either way.

November 25, 2007  11:31 AM ET

Addai over Manning????

November 25, 2007  11:31 AM ET

AFC:

East: Brady
North: Big Ben Rothlisberger
South: Peyton Manning
West: LT

NFC:

East: Brian Westbrook
North: Adrian Peterson
South: Drew Brees
West: Matt Hasselbeck

November 25, 2007  11:35 AM ET

keysta gets it for being the least off. But... I can think of a lot of spots where I disagree with both of you. Tony G? A tight end? Addai over Manning? Favre over Adrian Peterson?

November 25, 2007  11:36 AM ET

Hasselbeck? TWO people said Hasselbeck? How about Holt, Jackson, Gore, James, Fitz, and Boldin?

November 25, 2007  11:42 AM ET

Holt is on a 2-8 team and is getting old, Jackson is on one of the worst scoring team in the league, Gore has not ran for anything this year, but James Fitz and Boldin could take matt off but Hasselback is one of the best QBs in the NFC and Seattle has changed to a pass first offense, so Matt is a good pick there.

November 25, 2007  11:46 AM ET

I dont look at stats when I determine how good a player is. Never in here did it say based on 07 stats, just skill.

November 25, 2007  11:46 AM ET

Just because Holt and Jackson are on bad teams doesn't make them bad players

November 25, 2007  11:55 AM ET

Adrian Peterson over Brett Favre????????

November 25, 2007  12:28 PM ET

Both lists are not that good but keysta'sd is better and so he gets my votes.

chargers argument is not compelling

November 25, 2007  12:31 PM ET

MARQUES COLSTON HAHAHAHAHAHA

November 25, 2007  06:21 PM ET

AFC-
North- Ocho cinco
East - Tom Brady
South- Peyton Manning
West - LT

NFC-
North-Brett Favre
South-Steve Smith
East- Tony Romo
West- Steven Jackson (when Healthy)

November 28, 2007  05:16 PM ET

North - Ed Reed (Edwards puts another year like this one than I will change my mind)
East - Randy Moss (Brady is good but Moss is exceptionally good)
South - Manning (hate him but i am not delirious either)
West - LT (or Ladainian Tomlinson for you LT purest)

Noth - Favre (AP is amazing but Farve is carrying his team to one of the best regular season records and hasn't missed a start this year)
South - D. Brooks (Still plays at a high level. Steve Smith hasn't done anything in almost 3 years)
West - Larry Fitzgerald (If Steven Jackson was healthy this year maybe but I see Larry as the first person I would take in this conference.)

November 28, 2007  05:17 PM ET

oops no east - Westbrook with Owens being right behind him.

November 28, 2007  05:31 PM ET

Keysta just might win this one I think.
