The Spartans and Hoosiers are obviously the cream of the crop in the Big Ten. But I definitely think that the Spartans have better coaching in Tom Izzo, and are more talented on the court. Goran Suton and Raymar Morgan are two very good players, along with Drew Neitzel and Kalin Lucas and Chris Allen and Durrell Summers are pretty decent off the bench. This team did suffer the upset loss already to Grand Valley State, but Xavier also upset Indiana. These things happen early in the season. But overall I think they are a great team. And I think they will do well in a Big Ten Conference which is not as strong as last year. Ohio State and Wisconsin are decent this year at best, and I think they suffered major losses last year, especially the Buckeyes losing Greg Oden and Mike Conley Jr. and the Badgers losing Alando Tucker. I know the Badgers are 5-0, but once Big Ten play starts, I think IU and MSU will seperate themselves, with MSU prevailing at season's end.

IU will win the Big Ten. IU has started the season off 5-1 with there only lost to Xaiver who is ranked 25. IU has a lot of talent with standout freshman Eric Gordon, one of the top freshmans in the nation. Also they have inside presence with DJ White and DeAndre Thomas. Also Armon Bassett and Lance Stemler play a big role in the outside game. I do agree that IU and MSU will run away with the Big Ten but I believe IU will win the Big Ten. Kelvin Sampson is doing a good job coaching his squad and I believe Tom Izzo and Kelvin Sampson are evenly matched coaches. IU is getting better each game and Eric Gordon is showing a lot of talent. IU will match up good in the Big Ten Conference and will win the Big Ten Championship.

All great points my friend. But you see Indiana doesn't play Michigan St. until they play them twice in the last 8 or so games of the season. And Michigan St. will be in a groove playing PSU, NW, and PUR, while IU will be coming off a grueling 3 game stretch of ILL, OSU, and WISC. MSU will probably win that game, and both face two patsies and IU-OSU, MSU-WISC. will take place before their second meeting. And MSU will probably win that game as well. MSU has their tough conference games spread out, while IU has 7 of their last 12 against ILL, WISC, OSU, and MSU. I think schedule is what breaks the coaching and talent ties in my eyes, and MSU takes the Big Ten.

IU starts conference play off with games they should win. Then they do get into that tough stretch but those games are three days apart. So I dont see that hurting them. They will have time to prepair for each game. Then when IU plays Michigan State the second time they will face Purdue, Northwesterns, Ohio State then Michiigan State. I dont see that hurting IU's chances either. I dont see the schedule hurting IU. IU has the talent and depth that willl help carry them through the Big Ten. IU also might get AJ Ratliff back later in the year who is accedimicly inelligible. AJ Ratliff will add another weapon to IU's team. IU has depth and talent on there squad to win the Big Ten. Also IU has shown dominance at home in Assembly Hall. IU is very tough to beat when they are home. IU will win the Big Ten.

Wow. Touche. But this is College Basketball so upsets are in the wings all the time which go for both teams. but MSU and IU will do what they have to do to be in a good position to win the Big Ten. assuming they enter both games against each other with identical big ten records, thats where i give MSU the edge and thats where it will be won, when they go head to head.

I could see Michigan State winning one game when IU and Michigan State face each other. But winning both games I dont see. IU will win at least one game agianst Michigan State if not both games. IU will be well prepaired when they meet Michigan State in Big Ten play with the way there schedule is and the way they are developing. Also right now IU is playing without 2 gaurds in AJ Ratliff, as I mentioned early, and Jordan Crawford who got suspened for breaking a team rule. IU is playing well right now but just think how well they will be playing when they both come back to the hardware for IU. IU is coming back to being a national powerhouse and it has shown early in the year. Even with the lost to Xavier. They are an exciting team and has great skills. IU will win the Big Ten.

Indiana is exciting to watch. This is the best team they have had since they met Maryland in the finals.

Good job both, Vote to Cubs

The season hasn't even begun, and already were talking about winning the Big-Ten? Call me in January. Too many things can happen between now and then.
