Barry Sanders
Jim Brown
Walter Payton
Eric Dickerson

I got different order that's all.
1.Walter Peyton
2.Jim Brown
3.Barry Sanders
4.Eric Dickerson

you make no sense. in your other post you have emmit as the 4th best player regardless of position yet he isnt on your top 4 for rb's? then you stick barry below jim brown? barry played one more year and ran for 3k more yards. than brown. And both of them are better than payton because they were more dominant. Payton led the league in rushing once to Sanders 4.

SO

so payton will have to be relegated to third. sorry.

No ill put Emitt smith in for Dickerson

Accept my challenge Chargers08

November 26, 2007  01:44 PM ET

Dickerson does not belong on either list. I'll tell you who does though, that truly dominated the game for a long time as a rusher and receiver...Marshall Faulk.

November 26, 2007  01:49 PM ET

Dickerson is the single season rushing record holder and 4th all time. why doesnt he belong there?

November 26, 2007  01:51 PM ET

1. Gary Peyton
2. Barry Sanders
3. Jim Brown
4. Emmitt Smith

gary payton? were talking rb's not pg's

November 26, 2007  01:55 PM ET

I'll keep saying what I always do, stats are just numbers. But, since you want to rely only on numbers, Dickerson is actually 6th all time, so you have to choose between Curtis Martin and Jerome Bettis, who both have more yards than Dickerson. See my point?

November 26, 2007  01:56 PM ET

Gary Payton. Nice!

November 26, 2007  01:56 PM ET

Emmitt Smith has to be on this list. All time leading rusher, all time rushing TD's, 3 super bowl rings...

November 26, 2007  02:04 PM ET

GARY PAYTON!!! ****???....well I guess that's normal coming from a Saints fan.

Both of you guys are WRONG!!!

1. Jim Brown
2. Sweetness
3.Emmitt Smith
4. Barry Sanders

November 26, 2007  02:06 PM ET

Oh, and just in case your wondering Blue Devil & Charger, I didn't vote for either one of you because your both ****.....

November 26, 2007  02:10 PM ET

dude i could be the alltime rushing leader if i ran behind that cowboys offensive line!

November 26, 2007  02:16 PM ET

Who is #1 on the all time leading rushing list????..........I rest my case

November 26, 2007  02:19 PM ET

he also had more carries than anybody else. if barry had played on that cowboys team he would have had the record in the 10 years he played.

November 26, 2007  02:22 PM ET

Marshall Faulk, with over 19,000 yards from scrimmage AND 136 Touchdowns, needs to be on this list. In terms of pure explosive ability on good teams and bad, I would take him over Barry Sanders, who had more runs for zero or negative yards than anyone in the top twenty. Sure he was explosive, but he also missed on a lot of 3rd and 1's where the team just needed a first down, not a 79 yarder.

November 26, 2007  02:24 PM ET

No one is giving any cred to LT2, who is zooming up the list and might hold all the marks one day.

your right he is amazing. I am a huge chargers fan. have been all 21 years of my life. even in the shameful ryan leaf era. but at this time he rates 9 or 10 behind smith, faulk, allen, dorsett, and i have him and earl campbell neck and neck
