Mistake free QB in Garcia, Graham running like he should have been a starter his first 4 years in the league, and a stingy defense with a good mix of young and old steadily looking like the Tampa 2 from the late 90's.

All with 10 players (3 offensive starters) on the IR. This team is the best team in the NFC right now, behind Dallas and Green Bay.

Hello are you forgetting about the giants because they have the same record and i can prove there better. They have a better QB. Eli is much better.Giants have a better RB if Jacob's didn't get injured.Better WR. Plaxico is a beast.Better TE. Shockey is awsome. Giants are way better. But Bucs do have better Defense.

Eli is better than Garcia? That is arguable.

Garcia - 182 for 282 64.5% 2135 yards 11 TD's 3 INTs
Eli - 217 for 371 58.5% 2376 yards 16 TD's 15 INT's

"Giants have a better running game is Jacobs didn't get injured"...have you seen the injuries to the Bucs RB's? They lost their first 3 to injuries this year...injuries aren't an excuse.

Plaxico is playing hurt and Shockey is non existent and overhyped. Especially since the QB that's throwing to him is throwing 3 TD's a game... to the opposing team.

So. the Giants are still better.

All of Tampa's losses have come against playoff conteding teams and 3 of those are on the road (Indy, Seattle, and Detroit).

Giants are too inconsistent and Eli makes too many mistakes for them to be a force. They have lost to Dallas twice already and might be looking uphill at the playoffs with a tough shedule in the 2nd half (@Chi, @Phi, Wash, @Buff, and New England).

Right now, Tampa is playing better football.

Detriot isn't that good of a team. Jon Kitna sucks!

I think it has to be either NYG or Seattle. Seattle already beat TB this year..pretty soundly too. TB is having a nice season, and good for them, they have taken advantage of a weaker division (like Seattle) and put themselves in a good position. With that said, don't you have to think all those injuries will catch up to them? Considering Seattle owns a tiebreaker with them, TB will probably be the 4th seed, and host NYG...tough matchup for them with that pass rush.

Seattle played Tampa at home the first game of the year. A late fumble cost them from losing yesterday and their numbers are virtually identical in division and conference. Tampa has overcome the injuries and are starting to gel on both sides of the ball.

The Giants were 6-2, and everyone was taking a sip of their Kool-Aid. Then, they fall short against the Cowboys and get B*TCH SLAPPED

How is chargers winning with that argument.

"So. the Giants are still better."

Are you kidding me? That's the basis of your argument.

Of powersj doesn't win this one, it will be ********.

Oops...didnt meant to hit submit...

....by the Vikings. Not exactly "elite" like play from the Giants. The Bucs are sitting at 7-4, and are looking pretty darn good. They dont have Cadillac Williams, yet Earnest Graham is running pretty well in his stead. Garcia is one of the more efficient QB's in the NFL, and the defense is within the Top 10.

I think the Bucs could take out the Giants if they'd play...

Tough one! I'll wait...

"So. the Giants are still better."

LoL good one, and "My dad can beat up your dad."

NY Giants aren't consitent enough, especially when they play half way decent competition, wow they had a winning streak against some terrible teams and everyone thought they were great. Seattle struggles against weaker teams too, @ least TB beats inferior teams by more than 5 (Rams) or 3 (Bengals).

Im a Giants fan and all I see is the same malaise that has always come back to haunt them in the Coughlin era.

Eli is melting down again, Shockey continues to dog it, Plaxico is dogging (his ankle?) and I REALLY feel for Michael Strahan who is still a warrior. Who will run the ball for them? Droughns? The Giants will be lucky to win 9 games and touched by an angel if they win 10. Either way they will be fodder if they make the playoffs.

A good DL is not a good team.

I think this is pretty easy considering Eli is in full blow-up mode again. Giants go as Eli goes. Crashing and burning.
