The Varsity in Atlanta is so much better than the Varsity in Athens.


You got the skyline, Midtown, MARTA, 75, and of course, Bobby Dodd Stadium. Their starchy food never tasted better in any other place in the great state of Georgia.


Bobby Dade Stadium? Is that not the same place that that team from Athens has dominated in 4 straight games there?


This dude has no idea what the heck I'm talking about. i didn't challenge him. But yeah, it is the place where UGA has miraculously won some games recently, but the view is pretty cool because it is almost hidden.


Miracles dont happen 6 years in a row. Plus Athens is alot better place than Atl. Atl has too much traffic and is too hard too get around. Plus Athens is a much better college town. Tech fans have not been excited about a FB team in 15 years


The Varsity is very symbolic of the city of Atlanta: it's totally polarizing in the sense that people either find it unique and crave-worthy, or they think it's disgusting and cheap. I love it for it's nostalgic and starchy elements (great combo). It means more to the A than it does for the Athenianites.

Naw i am sorry but the varsity in ATHENS is sooooooooooooooooooooo much better than in ATL. The Georgia Bulldogs rule GEORGIA, so thats one reason, you may have all the other stuff, and it may be the first, but your main reason way Bobby Dodd Statium, which i take as the yellow jackets, THE DOGS DOMINATED that game, Athens is definentaly better.

This ain't my fight.

I grew up in Marietta, so I ate at the Varsity in Atlanta all of the time. It's nice having the Varsity in Athens, but that Varsity is like the Kennesaw Varsity: somewhat diluted. The Atlanta Varsity has more flavor.

I grew up in Athens and lived in Atlanta for six years.

Both Varsitys blow, but Athens's Varsity is even worse. The one in Atlanta at least has some of old-school atmosphere; the one in Athens is just sad and depressing.

I decline to vote either way for such horrible food.
