Tom Brady and the Patriots will take this near loss to the Eagles and absolutely destroy the "frauds." That overrated 8-3 team that found a way to lose to the Cardinals, Broncos and Jets won't be able keep Moss, Welker or Stallworth out of the endzone.

4 out of 11 times the Pats HAVE NOT won by 21:
10-7 Beat Browns @home 34-17
10-14 Beat Boys @Dallas 48-27
11-4 Beat Colts @Indy 24-20
11-25 Beat Eagles@home 31-28
Twice at home the Pats have not won by 21, to the Browns and Eagles. Nobody would say the Steelers are a worse team than the two above, in fact, when it comes to defense, the Steelers are in fact far superior to the Browns or Eagles, thus able to keep games a lot closer than the Pats are used to. Steelers=fewest points ALLOWED in NFL so far.
The Steelers have lost 3 road games by a COMBINED 13 points! The Steelers play everybody hard down to the wire even in losing efforts.
According to Vegas, the Pats were supposed to beat the Eagles by 22+. They very well could of lost. To say the Pats WILL win by 21 over the Steelers is INSULTING TO ALL STEELER FANS AND NFL FANS EVERYWHERE OUTSIDE OF BOSTON!
After watching the Eagles game, you see what happens when a defense puts pressure on Brady: he is off his usually pristine game. The Steelers blitz more than any team in the league. This game will be fun and close. Three touchdowns? Sounds fanatical to me.

Only 4 times? Really? It's too bad they (PIT) are a decent team because that just means Belichick will unleash all his pented-up rage against the team most people consider to be their biggest challengers. This Pats team is a great team (maybe the best ever), for them not to go up in the 4th Quarter and then add a couple "eff you" TDs would be uncharacteristic of them. Plus, Big Ben is the biggest Brady wannabe on the planet, so he will probably feel the need to throw the ball a bunch...you know what that means.
Cassidy's House: Smoke>Fire said 11/29, 05:08 PM
4 times is a pattern bozo.
Belicheater's pent up rage is available on secret video for 49.95. Its called Hidden Hate.
The best ever Patriots? Maybe after they complete this mission, but at this stage that is way too premature, especially since I dont want to think of the greatest team ever have to struggle at home against AJ Feeley. That a great, thats a shame.
Big Ben has a Superbowl Ring more recent than Brady. I think you got the envy backwards there bucko. Big Ben has lit up good defenses before(Colts 05 playoffs) and will do so again once he is outside the ho hum boredom of having to face the Cardinal, Bronco, and Jets of the world.
Pats are beyond overdue for an upset, and who better to challenge them down to the wire than a team solid in all phases of the game-passing, rushing, and defense-Pittsburgh Steelers are gonna have a lot of new fans after the give the Pats their money's worth on Dec 9th.

Report Offensive CommentI look forward to seeing more of Cassidy's argument, but she's already got my vote. I'm not convinced that the Patriots will even win... but there's no way they win by 21 points. I wouldn't take the Patriots by more than 10. For all of the "lost to the Broncos and Jets" talk... both of those losses were on final-play field goals. The Steelers losses have been by a combined total of 13 points - 7, 3, and 3.
21 points? No way... only a homer or a hater would take that bet.

I'll wait to see the rest of the arguments

Report Offensive CommentYou can't judge the Steelers by Monday Night's game at all. If you do, that's just foolish. Big Ben has proven he can play ins ome awful heavy rain conditions. He did just that a few short weeks ago. To call them frauds is a bit much and really out of line. They are a very good team. To go further and say they'll be beat by 21 points is even more ridiculous.
Vote to C!

Report Offensive CommentSteelers are better than the Eagles...right? 3 TD's is excessive. The line for NE over Baltimore is 20.5. Pit is definitely better than Baltimore.

Pat win by 10
