this is in no way a prejudice or racist throw down. i am not doing this out of malice or anthing like that it is just a lot more challenging because african americans dominate most of the skill positions. that aside i am thinking that we sould do roster 1st and arguments after that

wr-fred biletnikoff
wr-don maynard

ok i goofed on the safties, i tried to get as many current players on the roster as possable because i thought just going up and down the list of hall of famers was pretty weak, especially since most of the white guys were from the nonsuperbowl era. i would also like to add that i think the rediculous int numbers of krause and wilson are more akin to the crazy # of wins that early baseball pitchers had than thier over all brilliance. the game has changed a lot and i think that while they are great players, those numbers are a bit inflated. that aside, my pick of romo is legit as he had 14.5 more sacks than ham and he is only 2 ints from joing the 20 sack 20 int club that ham pioneered. i also like my o-line more than yours. bednarick is one of the greatest and toughest players of all time and he had the origional "hit" (on frank gifford that put him out for a year). also i like peyton more than montana. montana was a west coast qb and without a speed reciver it would be hard for him to put up big numbers as who would get the yards after the catch? tony g is with out a doubt a better TE than casper based on stats, and bob lily went to more pro bowls than donovan and hampton combined

Peyton Manning over Joe Montana?!? Montana has more yards, more touchdowns, more bling, more Pro Bowls, fewer INTs.
And how can you discount Paul Krause?! He played until 1979, and went up against some of the best QBs of all time. Its not like he played in the leather helmet era, he played in the Super Bowl era. Wilson also played into the '70s, so I'm not sure what you are talking about there.
Also, Franco is half black, so you can't exactly count him. Riggins had more touchdowns and rushes, so I would win there anyways.

Report Offensive CommentI agree with Paddy, but I'll vote now.
Esco gets my vote because:
1. He went with a 4-3
2. Franco has some African-American in him.

Report Offensive Comment"Who the hell is Lyle Alzado?"
Wow. Google is your friend.
Anyone who doesn't at least know who Alzado is, doesn't know enough about football history to be participating in an all-time list.
Alzado was an absolute stud DE for the Raiders who is more famous for highlighting the problem of steroids in sports long before anyone knew who Jose Canseco was.
