Ohio State-LSU. Thats the title game. Should they both be in it? I think not. LSU could have and should have been beaten out for the title game by a few teams.

1. Georgia: Ranked #4 in the BCS and did not play. If Ohio State jumped two spots, why couldn't Georgia?

2. Virginia Tech: Many people will point to their huge loss to LSU earlier in the year, but think. They were #6 in the BCS, while LSU was #7. They beat #12 Boston College by 14 points. LSU beat #14 Tennessee by 7 points. Tennessee lost 4 games during the year, BC lost just 3.

3. Oklahoma (The least likely) They beat the #1 team in the nation by 21 points to win the conference. Not only did they beat Missouri in that game, they beat them earlier in the year too.

Heh heh heh... Bitter Michigan fan. Oh, right the Throwdown

1. Georgia did not win their division. They did not win their conference. They do not need to play in the title game over a team that did win their division.

2. VT lost by 41 to LSU. They do not need to be in over them.

3. Oklahoma. Maybe. They did actually win their conference, beat Mizzou twice, lost to not one, but two unranked conference opponents.

So basically, LSU deserved it more than those three you listed.

Ok. See I knew you would point out those three things.

1. Georgia yes, they did not win their conference but they were playing better than any team in the nation in their last six games.

2. Look back at what I wrote up in my first argument. " Many people will point to their huge loss earlier in the year". They still beat a better team by more points in their last week.

3. Oklahoma lost to two unranked conference opponents. That sounds a lot like LSU. They also did not allow 43 and 50 points in their losses.

As for me being bitter. Why the hell would I be bitter? I know we lost to Ohio State. I congratulate them. They deserved it. Did I mention Michigan as one of those three teams? I don't think so.

People seem to forget about Kentucky being ranked when they took down LSU. THEY WERE RANKED. Not unranked, but a member of the AP College Football Top 25 Poll. So yeah, not unranked.

Va. Tech lost to LSU. Beating Boston College doesn't matter. That was a completely different game. Point is, LSU beat them and deserve to be in instead of them. That is why Missouri needs to be in a BCS Bowl instead of either Kansas or Illinois- THEY BEAT BOTH OF THEM.

And the bitter thing, I'm a big Ohio State fan. I happen to make fun of Michigan men. Ask Wallace, Krobe, DetroitFan, J.HOVA, anyone else. Don't get offended.

VA Tech lost to LSU yes they did. They also bounced back only to lose one more game in the year against BC who was lucky to get that win.

Missouri over Kansas. I agree with that. Over Illinois, I have a little disagreement. Illinois beat the #1 team in the nation on the road. They beat Penn State(#21 at the time) and Wisconsin (#5 at the time). They lost just three games, a game against Missouri. A fluke upset at the hands of Iowa, and they got beat by Michigan when Michigan was on a streak.

As for the Michigan joke. Thanks for clearing things up. I usually do the same to Ohio State fans, but I can't cause I don't really have an argument for this year.

If you win this TD, I congratulate you. For all the people trying to make such a big deal out of this TD, please don't. I get comments that really can bring out the worst in people. I just started this one to get some people's ideas on it and to give people something to think about. Thank-You.

LSU smoked VT like 49 - 7 this year

December 3, 2007  06:02 PM ET

Georgia didn't even win their division in the SEC, let alone the conference. LSU spanked VT, and Oklahoma had two losses.

December 3, 2007  06:07 PM ET

"lost to not one, but two unranked conference opponents."

Who does that sound like? Oh yeah LSU.

LSWho had 2 losses as well...i think oklahoma...when a team beats the #1 team in the nation the week before the Bowl Bids and LSU loses a week prior to an unranked team....pretty fishy....but oh well thats the system!

December 3, 2007  06:13 PM ET

Ohio State has beaten the same number of ranked teams as Hawaii.

December 3, 2007  06:16 PM ET

What, 3?

December 3, 2007  06:26 PM ET

And OSU and Hawaii's one common opponent was Washington. OSU won by 19 AT WASHINGTON. Hawaii had to come back down 21 to win by 7 AT HOME.

December 3, 2007  06:30 PM ET

Ohio ST SOS was 75 when Hawaiis was dead last at 119

December 3, 2007  06:31 PM ET

and the only ranked opponet they played (boise st) had a SOS of 118

December 3, 2007  06:32 PM ET

I hate Michigan, but CollegeFootballFan's argument is way better than the other guys.

December 3, 2007  06:33 PM ET

You knew he would point out those three things bc they are correct and were reasons that the NC game is what it is.

1) If the two "hottest" teams went to the NC every year, OSU wouldn't be in it either. It would be UGA vs. USC.

2) VT played LSU when they were healthy as they will be Jan 7th. It's not an excuse for two losses, it is just fact. What would you be saying if Mich had beaten a team by 41 points at the beginning of the season just to be pushed out of the NC by them at the end??

3) Yes, OU beat the hell out of Mizzou (twice) but that isn't impressive to me. Since OU BEAT THEM TWICE. LSU played a UT team that could have easily jumped on them since they were without their starting QB and Dorsey.

December 3, 2007  06:40 PM ET

I'm not saying that OSU isn't a good team or even that they don't belong in the National Championship game. However, LSU's road to the NC game has been much more difficult beating 4 top 25 teams. LSU is every bit as deserving as Ohio State.

December 3, 2007  06:42 PM ET

Never said LSU didn't deserve it. And Ohio State happened to beat three top 25 teams (Purdue, Wisconsin, Michigan). It's all good though. Next year, we won't have this problem.

bcs does not operate on"whos hottest". whoever won the games they had to win gets in. georgia couldnt do that

December 3, 2007  06:53 PM ET

Hey why did u just paste my argument from before? I know it wasnt that good but seriously....

December 3, 2007  06:55 PM ET

I didn't, you must have pressed submit twice. It happens a lot.
