The number one reason the Steelers will lose to the Pats is because Willie Parker can't score and he'll fumble the ball.

Willie Parker may be #2 in rushing yards but he is absolutely worthless when it comes to getting into the Endzone. Big Ben has had to throw the majority of the season to get in or run it himself. That's not something a team should be depending on going against the Patriots. The other thing the Steelers can't do is turn the ball over and Parker has been giving it over like Christmas gifts. Well, we're well inot December and nothing will change. The Pats will capitalize on each and every turnover that occurs. My take is that it's going to be like Christmas morning and Parker is going to play Santa. I don't typically do these aggresive like TD's but I am just so tired of the overrated Willie Parker. Compare all his stats and the ratios between the top 12 RB's and you'll see what I mean. I hope the Steelers do win but if not, it wil be because of Parker!

Willie is #2 which means there is only 1 running back better than him at running the ball. The only reason he does not get more rushing touchdowns is because we have Davenport as a redzone short yardahe back. najeh is big and fat and takes away from fast willie's touchdowns so do not hate on willie, k? Willie won't turn the ball over he only has beenfumbling because the weather has been raining and the ball has been slick. the game is not in Blitzburgh so he does not need to worry aboutt he field conditions slowing him down. don't hate on willie, hate on maroney or some other over rated patriot like bruschi. steelers will go into new england and come away with a 10 point victory and ruin their streak because the steelers love ruining streaks.

GO STEELERS!

The poblem with Parker is that he thinks the football field is only 60 yards and his running stops within the Redzone. As far as Davenport is concerned, unless the Steelers have the ball on the one yard-line or less, he's been unproductive. I know he's #2 in total yards (Parker) but compare all his other stats with the top 12 RB's in the league and compare the ratios.

As far as making excuses for him, all RB's have to play in the same weather or at least most do, Addai may be the exception, and does not for about 8 games out of the season.

So you think the Steelers are going to win by ten??? I say Parker coughs up the ball enough to at least give the Pats an opportunity to score at leat 10 points on his mistakes. The Steelers need to worry about winning the game or even staying in the game, not ruining a streak. They need the win! They are not a team like the Eagles or Ravens that can play reckless ball.

It's gonna be cold and windy in Foxboro. The Pats will focus on the run, Big Ben will have problems throwing. Parker goes nowhere! Pats by at least 17!!! Great game either way!

willie cannot help that the steelers throw in the redzone. usually the steelers spell willie in the redzone because it has been a long drive and he is tired from carrying the load the other 60 yards. willie won't cough the ball up at all because the steelers worked with him in practice all week. plus willie shows up in big games. he holds the super bowl record for longest touchdown for christs sake. the steelers do not need this win, but it will help. because it will be cold and windy, both teams will run. the steelers have the better running game. that means steelers win.

HERE WE GO STEELERS!

Man, such excuses for an overrated player. That's the problem with the Steelers. They too fail to see that Parker can't score. It's not that they don't try. The guy chokes in the Red Zone! Again, Big Ben can't do it all on his own. They need to be able to run and score in the Red Zone. The Steelers don't need this game??? They need every game! What's the point in saying that? It's actually not too cold and it's not too windy yet. Sorry but if the Steelers had a guy that could score on the ground, they would have a chance. Unfortunately, that's not the case. They'll lose because of the lack of scoring, which a team going against the Pats needs to do in the air and on the ground.

There They Go Pats!!!

as i expected, willie isn't the reason the steelers will win or lose; it is whether we stop brady to moss and if we do not turn the football over

im gonna be goin to bed soon big cat. dont get mad if i dont post arg 2 until tomorrow

"Willie is #2 which means there is only 1 running back better than him at running the ball."

Uh, no. He's number 2 in yards. He's ALSO only averaging 3.8 yards per carry which is tied for THIRTY SECOND. He has 30 more carries than anyone else in the game. NOT IMPRESSIVE and most certainly NOT the second best RB in the game.

December 9, 2007  01:30 AM ET

I forgot to mention that 2 TDs is FAR from impressive from a feature back with so many carries.

December 9, 2007  02:09 AM ET

There isn't alot on the Steelers to be worried about now-a-days. They had been playing over their head for awhile and have now crashed back down to where they belong.

Voted to the right

Cause Steelers will win but this cld change if his arguments dont get any better and he needs spell-check

December 9, 2007  09:44 AM ET

24-20 Steelers

December 9, 2007  10:26 AM ET

Steeler fans and Patriots haters: Let's just say for a moment that the Pats do win, what will the reason for that be on the Steelers' side of the ball???

December 9, 2007  10:42 AM ET

Steerlers defenisve secondary cannot stay with Pats receviers - too many weapons ----

Injuries are hurting Steelers now also

December 9, 2007  10:44 AM ET

Big Cat as for weather - it is nice her in Foxboro today - dry field no wind - no rain no snow at all and temp close to 40 ---- a perfect day to air it out in New England

December 9, 2007  11:36 AM ET

"Let's just say for a moment that the Pats do win, what will the reason for that be on the Steelers' side of the ball???"

Complete lack of offensive line competence. That line is awful.

December 9, 2007  11:41 AM ET

the only reason Parker was fumbling was because it was raining clown.

December 9, 2007  01:35 PM ET

i think the #1 reason the steelers will lose will be if they can't stop the pat's offense...not parker....however i'm not voting yet because the other guy doesn't seem to be arguing that point

December 9, 2007  07:28 PM ET

Well, that was pretty much just how I predicted it and called it! Willie Parker is like taking a long car drive and breaking down 20 miles away. I can't imagine doing that over and over again. That is overrated!!! He's the worst. Too bad because I like the Steelers!

December 9, 2007  07:31 PM ET

Uh, Steelers lost because their defense went retarded and forgot to cover guys running deep.

December 9, 2007  07:31 PM ET

You don't sound like you like the Steelers. haha

December 9, 2007  07:34 PM ET

Love the Steelers! Don't like Willie Parker... He defines overrated!!!

December 9, 2007  07:35 PM ET

umm actually big cat, they lost because they couldnt stop moss deep, and because their play calling sucked. how many touches did willie even get inside the 5? they even gave hines ward a run....

December 9, 2007  07:38 PM ET

How did they lose b/c of Parker? He did pretty well.

December 9, 2007  07:39 PM ET

D.C. - Yea, umm, NO!
The guy can run all day long between the two 20 yard markers. Who cares? They tried with Willie plaenty of time but knew it was useless and then did otherwise. Willie Parker = Way Overrated!
