Actually, I had thought about accepting this, even as a Patriot fan and arguing that in the final week, when the Ptriots have nothing to play for other than the perfect season, are visiting Giant's Stadium where the wind can be a factor which might force them to have to run and with the Giants still possibly playing for playoff positioning might have a chance. They do have a decent pass rush that may be able to get in Brady's face without having to bring too many blitzes that he picks apart.

There may also be a few banged up Pats that the may wish to sit and heal for the playoffs. I don't think Bellichick will risk the Superbowl for the prefect season.

Not saying this is in the cards or likely, just possible.

Kind of a weak TD. Even against the Giants, they will play their starters. When you have a chance at history why waste it. They have worked all year to get themselves into this position and there is no way they can just sit their starters now (maybe a few here and there). They will still go and try and win the game. The Giants won't have much to play for either, they can't better themselves position wise so who doesn't say they don't rest their starters. Of course they go undefeated the rest of the way, its really not an argument. The only way they don't is if something crazy happens and while the Jets or Dolphins are getting pounded decide to take a cheapshot on Brady.

why is it sad? Because they will, or because I am following up my TD from last week which was the Steelers have the ebst shot to beat the Pats. Well since I took theat stance I am standing by my they had the best shot, so no one else will beat them.......
