Best position tradition in CFB (EX Penn state Linebacker U

I think it is definety penn state linebackers. All the greats to go through there is amazing. Plus, we have the last three Butkus awards.

Penn state has had as many maxwell as that, and have had more all americans at linebacker. Also more Butkus awards then USC has had Walter Camp

Those were just amongst those specific running backs. No Penn State line backer has EVER won the Maxwell. More Penn State players have won the Maxwell than at USC, but I swore this was about just the linebackers...
Anyways, only 2 Penn State have won the Butkus, and last time I checked 6 > 2. Also, the past three Butkus winners were James Laurinaitis, Patrick Willis and Paul Posluzney, so only 1 of the past 3 were from PSU
11 All-Americans for Penn State linebackers, and 11 < 16.

Maxwells are NOT just for RBs. Case in point, Tim Tebow who is a..... wait for it...... QB! Oh gosh! Really?! NO!
Besides, a Penn State D-LINEMAN won the Maxwell before.
And only 4 Penn State linebackers have won the Bednarik Award. So yeah...... SORRY KID.

Its much easier for offensive players to get awards than D. PSU is Linebacker U, and is better known for that position than any other school is for any single position.
