Danovan McNabb should be cut or traded Hes getting injured to much and isnt doing anything for the eagles.

donovan mcnabb is a top 10 qb when healthy. he could even be a top 5 guy. no way you trade him. hes looked awesome since coming back. espically running the ball. dont trade him or cut him. it would kill the eagles

Danocan Mcnabb used to be in the top 10 even the top 5 but now alll he does is run. He cant throw when he scrambles anymore and the eaglwes offensive line isnt as good as what they were. They arent playin good and donvan is forced to scramble now because of there offensive line not being good. He should go to a new team with a better offensive lne. He did nothing for the eagles yet tho this seson. Hes always getting injured. This year was his finger, last year was a sports hernia, the year before that he hurt his hand but brought them to the superbowl, and the year before that, he broke his ankle to arizonna. Thats 2 bad injuries that kept him out for the rest of the seson ( ankle. and hernia) and 2 minor ones including his hands. All because of their offensive line. There not good anymore and make him scramble cuz they cant stop the blitz or other things. He gets hurt to easy, hes only good in the pocket even tho hes never in it and scrambling because of the offensive line and hes not in the top 10 not even close try the 20's or at least 17 and up.

so u saying instead of upgrading the offensive line just get rid of one of the nfls best qbs? that makes no sense at all. get a better o line and your the eagles are a playoff team. its really quite simple. its not mcnabbs fault

no he doesnt thro good hes not even near one of the best quaterbacks and with and if he was then how are they with a record of 5-8
but if he's that good with an amazing running back and decent wide recievers then how can he bring them to a 5-8 record and ya feely played but for 2 games what happened with the other 11 games he won 5 but 6 are gone and really 8 are gone but you cant blame feely for that he their second string he was in cuz he got HURT and if hes so good and whats up with last in the nfc east and with a 5-8 record. if they had a better quaterback that can throw a good pass scrambling or in the pocket yhen the eagles would be good. But its Danovan Mcnabb that ruined there chance at the playoffs. 12 sacks against the giants tied for the most in a game. You cant blame the line When Danovan was good, he could make those plays turn into good ones or at least run or throw while scrambling to get a first down. Hes not good anymore and the eagles could use another quaterback thats better. Kevin Kold is there future. They should play him the rest of there games and work with him over the off season. Cut Danovan McNabb and i be that they go farther next year with him

mcnabb is a beast. give him and westbrook a good line and watch out. its really that simple

Ok. Not a lot going on here.

Danovan is trash now hes looks like hes getting old even though hes not

December 11, 2007  08:00 PM ET

so now ur talkin about the line when its about mcnabb.

Favre is old. What is your point?

Look at the Niners. They would DIE for McNabb. The Eagles need to get a better qb before they get rid of McNabb. The Niners got rid of Jeff GArcia a few years back and have had nothing but sucky suckines and sukfulness. While GArcia STILL HAD stuff left and won with the eagles and now Tampa.

thats the thing though donovan mcnabb doesnt have anything left

Aight the O-line of the Eagle is pretty good. William-Tra
Thomas Thomas Herremans Jamaal Jackson Shawn Andrews(probably the best guard in football) and Jon Runyan. Not to mention back ups like Max Jean-Gilles and Winston Justice. I think they have a good O-line. But Franke no way should dOnovan(with an o haha) go anywhere. you can ask anyone and they'll tell you it takes one full season to recover from that injury. He'll be back to Pro Bowl form by next year. He aint bad and he still has a few good years left in him. And Reid already made it pretty clear that he isnt going anywhere

December 11, 2007  08:06 PM ET

He's got alot left hes just hurt.

December 11, 2007  08:06 PM ET

yaa and bill he could never fully recover because hes always getting hurt donovan mcnabb is done

December 11, 2007  08:07 PM ET

true he does get hurt alot but once he recovers from the first year back after acl surgury the leg will be fine and he'll be back to normal.

December 11, 2007  08:07 PM ET

If you dont remember only 1 year ago, Mcnabb was having an MVP year before his injury. It takes 1 full year to recover from his type of injury. If the Eagles are smart, theyll keep mcnabb and build up for one last super bowl run.
